About this property

Unique home on the waters edge with no stairs to lake & pontoon rental option

Get away from the rush of life and stay a couple nights at Villa Lago. We have year round deep water with easy access to dock with no stairs. We are located between Trident Marina and Smith Lake Dam in Cullman County.

Be surrounded by beautiful sunrises, star filled skies and soothing waterfall sounds. We have 3 lots that form a private little cove for safe swimming & a large waterfall. We offer our guests 2300+ square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, open spacious areas including a kitchen, dining area and living room.
Enjoy a large veranda with comfortable seating, an x-large Green Egg for grilling your favorite steak or baking a pizza, and an outdoor fireplace for chilly nights. You can sit outside and listen to the relaxing waterfall, chill with a book or play some good music. Oh and did I mention no stairs to the lake!

The home is well equipped with your basic needs including lake needs such as towels, water floats, Lilly pad, kayaks, fishing poles, corn hole and more. There is a very large parking area that can easily accommodate multiple vehicles and vehicle with a boat trailer. It would make an ideal rental for fishing tournaments. We may also make a boat slip available if requested prior to arrival.

OWNERS LIVE ON PREMISES. The homes are separated by an elevator that remains locked while we have guests. There are separate entrances and parking. You will have the entire lake level home, lake level grounds and dock to yourself. We are well insulated so don't worry about noise.
A pontoon boat with a fabulous sound system is available for rent to Villa Lago guests only (reserve ahead). Why is it convenient to have owners on premises? Because we can answer all your questions, immediately address any issues that may come up, rent the boat, and you can borrow a cup of sugar or any last minute item you forgot to bring. Our interaction is completely at your preference.

Our intention is to share this beautiful lake with guests who will love it as much as we do. Life is about creating memories and we hope you will create some great ones here at Villa Lago.

NOTE: There are high walls and high rock ledges without rails-see photos. Outdoor security cameras monitor entrances.

We are easy going people that love to enjoy life. Our super power is common sense and we love sharing all the rewards our beautiful lake has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We love where we are located (not bias at all :)). It is a 45 minute drive to Cullman and major grocery stores but it is so naturally beautiful, quiet, safe and peaceful here. There are no neighbors to our immediate left or right because we own those lots. The house is large enough to have larger parties stay but we are invested in the quality of your stay not the quantity.

What makes this property unique

We have 260 + feet of waterfront, and no steps necessary to access the dock.
3 lots form our own private little cove but we are on the main channel, making swimming and floating very safe.
You will have a large parking area. With separate entrances.
We love the sound of the waterfall which runs steady 10 months out of the year. Our favorite part of lake life is catching dinner off the dock and enjoying the deep clean water.
