House was cute and a great location near town but on top of a lovely mountain with privacy and a great view! The only issue came with the internet not working and despite great effort and diligent communication from the property manager we did not get any internet. But was kindly discounted on our stay due to the inconvenience
We enjoyed the house. Me and my husband along with my sister and her husband stayed 3 nights. It is on a dirt drive(road) that I didn’t expect, but I live on a dirt road, so no issue for us. The house was very clean and well equipped. The owner responded quickly to my messages. I’d stay here again.
Everything was beautiful, peaceful, quiet. The only problem we had was the outside lights that came on at dusk, they never turned off. The downstairs bedroom has sheer curtains and our bedroom was so bright we could not sleep well. We had to hang a blanket the next couple of nights to be able to sleep. We like to sleep in a dark room and I know not everyone does, so it would be nice if the lights went out at 10pm or there was a blind in the window that could be pulled down to keep the light out. Other than that, we would definately rent again. Worth every penny.
What a wonderful little cottage. Clean and tidy. Awesome spot right on top of the mountain with a beautiful view of the White River. Looking forward to staying again.
I viewed pictures online prior to our stay and they did not do this property justice. The view of the surrounding mountains and river valley is spectacular. The cottage itself is perfectly charming. Its warm, colorful decor inside was so inviting. There are so many special touches that made our stay wonderful. We hope to stay again!
Everything was as described. Beautiful view and surroundings. Cabin was well kept and everything ran as smoothly as it could. Thank you for having us and we would gladly stay here again.
The location is amazing! It’s on a dead end road and secluded. The view is superb. Highly recommend this place. It was a little small for a family of 6, but we managed. Also, the hot water seemed to run out very quickly. Other than that, it was great! We would stay again! Oh, and the post cards to send out were a great extra touch!
Wonderful location! Beautiful view! House is very quaint.
Well kept and clean. So very relaxing and quiet. Close to town and state park which we enjoyed very much. Friendly people everywhere we went.
Living room “couch” was so very uncomfortable. Could use a clock in the living room and upstairs bedroom. Entrance road needs grading. Very bumpy ride, but it is in the country.😊👍
Very quiet, peaceful and well decorated. Enjoyed early morning coffee and afternoon sipping wine. Views are to die for and the inside is as cozy as home. Will return…thanks for sharing your home!
Upon entering the property it was obvious it had not been cleaned from the prior stay (beds unmade, dirty towels in the showers, etc). I was in a bit of a panic because we had 3 young children we needed to feed dinner and get to bed, but also because we had zero cell service (even after connecting to wifi) and ended up walking to the top of the hill to connect. They were quick to call back and did send someone to clean which is why I ultimately decided to stick with a 5 star rating. Everything was as pictured and perfect if you are looking for somewhere to stay before checking out Blanchard Sprinsg.out.
Stone Cottage did not disappoint. The views from the cottage were breathtaking. So quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself is cute and cozy. We enjoyed having a fire outside to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. It was the perfect place to relax. We didn't have any issues during our stay. Property was as advertised. We will definitely be back!
Clean and cozy cottage with a beautiful view. Host was very responsive and left wonderful details for nearby restaurants and also instruction for any emergencies. Beds were comfortable. Back porch was wonderful for morning coffee!
Cell phone coverage was not available at the location. I'm not sure if it was the storm that was happening or the remoteness of the location. Host does provide Wi-Fi however, so we were able to still use the phones.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again!

While the property is absolutely gorgeous trying to communicate with the VRBO host was a nightmare
I sent several messages to the host which I never received a reply 2 weeks before arriving no phone number listed anywhere on the booking this may be ok for young tech savvy people but for us older generation it’s a nightmare I won’t book ever again through VRBO
