The space is very pretty. Layout is nice and open. However there are a few things that were just difficult. The amount of windows is lovely in theory and aesthetics. But the space becomes unbearably hot in the afternoon even with the fans running to circulate the air and the air conditioner on full blast. The sauna had spider webs and spiders in it. Even if outside that needs to be a space that needs to be cleaned between each visit. The dishwasher wouldnât drain properly so we had to do dishes by hand. Which I understand is a luxury but when on vacation dishes are the last thing we want to do. Lastly, the bbq was unusable. Not only dirty with grime from multiple visits but it wouldnât even start. I just feel like for the amount of money we spent these things should be at least functional. There was debris on the land everywhere. Wood planks, fallen trees, boxes from renovations. Itâs just not safe and takes you out of the vacation mode. The sun coming through the windows, because there are not curtains or window treatments, the sun is very bright early in the morning and in the afternoon near dinner. Became difficult to sleep in and cook dinner as the sun would be right in your eye. Other than those things, there was plenty of space for 4 women to enjoy a long weekend away. The house was clean and the aesthetic felt very homey. And there are enough trees in that area to make you feel like youâre alone but neighbors are close by.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay.
We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the home's design, open layout, cleanliness, and the peaceful setting. It is wonderful to know that your group had enough space to enjoy a relaxing weekend together.
We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. The large windows are one of the property's most appreciated features, but we understand that during particularly sunny afternoons they can contribute to higher indoor temperatures despite the air conditioning and fans. We will review potential solutions to improve guest comfort.
We are also sorry to hear about the condition of the sauna. As the sauna is located outdoors, spiders can occasionally appear between visits despite regular maintenance.
Regarding the dishwasher, we are aware of the issue and are currently waiting for a replacement part that is expected to arrive within the next 1â2 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your stay.
As for the BBQ, this is the first time the issue has been reported to us. We were not aware of any problem prior to your reservation, and we will have our team inspect it promptly to ensure it is functioning properly for future guests.
We truly appreciate your feedback and your kind words about the home itself. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even better experience.
The stay was okay. The cleanliness of the cottage was overall good inside. However, outside, the property was poorly maintained. There were okd wood studs lying around in the grass with dangerous nails sticking out. The area around the sceptic tank was flooded with smelly water. Not the best environment for young children. The air conditionner was leaking condensation water so we could not use it the whole time. It got really hot in the cottage because of this. The barbecue had not been cleaned and had dangerous buildup of sooth that could have caught on fire. Your cleaning team could have done a better job cleaning the barbecue, and the area around the spa.
