About this property

The Rambler Room - Wander Inn

The Rambler Room has two queen size beds with custom made JG headboards, a vintage wagon wheel chandelier and oversized ornate chairs. A unique vintage Texas map is showcased in the bathroom and imported carved mirrors decorate the walls.

A set of French doors lead out onto the porch with your own rocking chairs which allows for a perfect view of the sunset and the longhorns.

This room is downstairs in the Crown House and has pine floors throughout, a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, the ranch-style corrugated metal shower, rainfall shower head, your own record player, vintage table fan and a mini-fridge.

This room is in the Crown House where you can share the great room with the other 3 rooms in the building if you choose to. This house is built in the traditional Ranch-style dog-run or dog-trot layout, where there is a breezeway through the center of the house to allow for extra cooling during the summer months.

The great room is upstairs and features our grand blue velvet sectional, a gas fireplace and our 1950s IDEAL sign. The feature wall in the great room is made of beadboard salvaged from the Mt Calvary Church in Round Top, and a kitchenette entirely built out of salvage components. You’ll also find a coffee table made out of a vintage drum and stacks and stacks of great books for your stay.

Everyone has access to our outdoor areas (65 acres), gas firepits, adirondack chairs, bicycles & stock tank Cowboy Pools!

There is a common kitchenette area with a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. We ask that you do not cook in these kitchens are they are not equipped for cooking, but are fine for snacks and drinks.

A large disco ball style chandelier hangs above large leather sofas and chairs flanking our handcrafted piano coffee table piled high with stacks of books, records and games for your entertainment.
