Dog friendly

The place was ok. The cleanliness needs work in the carpeted areas. Dog hair was stacked along the walls/baseboards and the raised bed. So much fur the carpet looked shadowed. As for being pet friendly, I thinking accepting pets and pet friendly are very different and this should be noted. The railings in the stairs are not to code and are dangerous for pets and small children. The yard access stairs is covered in weeds and make it impossible to get to the lower area where pets could relieve themselves. The latge dining table in the kitchen makes it hard to maneuver around. This place is great for adults but because of the no access to lowered level outdoors and the stair railing. And the many many animal scents in the carpets- I would not recommend it for pets or young children. The location was great. The overall upstairs area was clean. The bathrooms were clean too. We actually stayed only 1 night of our 8 day vacation. Our pets weren’t comfortable walking up and down the hills to go potty (senior) he actually had a seizure :( - the fires were so bad and the smoke was awful no fault to the owner- however they would not offer us a date change or any type of credit even a partial credit. So we were out the total amount $$$$ we did ask /pleaded. I’ve stayed at many other properties and never had any problems. I do think this is partly because this isn’t actually run by the owner but a property management company. The response time for reply’s was very long.
