This unique, charming home is tucked beside the serene and fully stocked 3.4-acre Lake Amelia. Outdoor amenities feature a picnic table with grill, fire pit, cornhole, comfortable screened porch, three kayaks, and a rowboat. Home is equipped with board games, streaming services, breakfast essentials, and everything you should need during your stay.
No lifeguard on duty. Use of the lake, kayaks, and rowboat is at your own risk. By booking this property, guests acknowledge that any water activities are undertaken voluntarily and agree to assume full responsibility for their own safety.

Hi, I’m Sarah, and my husband Lee and I live and work in Aiken, South Carolina. Lee is a talented chef, and I wait tables a couple days a week. It’s a job I love because it allows flexibility and lets me meet people from all walks of life and stay connected to our community.
I also manage this property, which has become a real passion of mine. There’s something special about creating a beautiful, comfortable space, not just for ourselves and the people we love, but also for travelers who are passing through. It brings me so much joy to know that guests can relax and feel at home here, even if just for a short while.

What makes this property unique
From the moment we first pulled into the driveway, we felt a kind of magic here. There’s something about the peaceful lake, the wildlife, the sound of wind chimes in the breeze, the spacious layout of the home, the little greenhouse and cottage tucked away in the trees. It all feels like a place where kids might chase frogs and fairies, and hobbits would gather for a party. It’s a true escape from the everyday world, full of quiet beauty and endless possibility.
