Check in was super simple host was available for anything that might have come up but nothing did it was quite and very clean beautiful views and about 15 minutes from most of my needs would definitely stay again
The place was very clean and cute. Charlene was a great host. My wife uses a wheelchair and this place was very accessible. I would definitely stay here again.
Our VRBO was very nice. Everything was clean and orderly and we had everything we needed to get started on our month long stay. We did contact the host a couple of times and she was always very accommodating and got back to us quickly
The Desert Gem was clean and comfortable, and in the perfect location for exploring and enjoying the area! Charlene was very responsive, and it is obvious that she treats her Gem with thought and care. It was hard for me to leave, which is the best recommendation that I can give! I will book again! Thank you!
This was our second time staying here and we will continue to stay here when we visit Tuscon. The area is beautiful and the casita has everything we need. The host is very responsive and helpful.
The home was wonderful but the outdoor space to watch the sunrise AND sunset was spectacular! Will definitely book again while visiting the Tucson area.
Great stay. The bed was superb-I slept like a rock. Shower was fantastic as others have noted. Close to hiking and stores. Very clean. The kitchen had all that was necessary and no clutter beyond- I was able to easily cook what I wanted. Grill worked well and had extra gas if needed. Very well thought out and comfortable. Good communication. Happy I stayed here. I loved that there were quail all over the area and the trees out front were a cheerful yellow in bloom.
The laundry was convenient. The rooms were nicely sized the beds were comfortable everything that we could possibly want or need was in there. The kitchen was well equipped, the same answer I would give everything we needed plus lotta things we wanted. We’re right there. The host was very, very attentive and friendly And our overall day was great.
We had a great experience for our family with close proximity to hiking trails and the canyons. Our kids loved the swings in the front yard and having their own bunks in the back of the house.
The kitchen was just right, the laundry area was perfect, the two bedrooms were unique. There was a glass garage door in the back of house with a big comfy recliner, perfect for looking outside at the birds and scenery and drinking coffee in the morning. Everything was very clean. Nice area for grilling and sitting outside with the view of the mountains and desert scenery. Every evening after a day of site seeing it was a pleasure to go back to house.
We loved our stay in the desert. The home was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed coffee in the backyard each morning as we listened to birds chirping and gazed at the mountains. We highly recommend this home for those who want a quiet stay close to nature.
