Sunrise Lane is the OG - the first home built by Hygge Supply. The home sits on a tranquil stretch of preserved wetland that leads to lakeside access to stunning Lake Leelanau. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to feel one with the outdoor surroundings. Views of tall tamarack trees, cattails, and wetland flowers greet you the minute you walk in the front door. The local wildlife thrives on this protected piece of property, so expect to see deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, and, if you're lucky, an occasional bobcat sighting. This home has two bedrooms with queen beds. The master bedroom sits at the back of the house looking out towards the lake and has an En Suite bathroom with a large soaking tub. The guest bedroom is located at the front of the house with a guest bathroom accessible from the hallway. The main living space of the house is an open concept with a chef's kitchen and long island, a living room with lots of seating, a large TV, and a dining table that can seat 6. A desk nook is tucked in the long main hallway that connects the two wings of the home. A long raised path allows you to walk through the wetlands down to a patio area where there is seating and wood wood-burning fire pit. There is an extended dock with additional seating offered during the summer and fall seasons. This house is the perfect retreat! Come prepared with all your essentials because you may not want to leave once you arrive!

I highly recommend this place. There were special touches that made it so special. The water is so beautiful. The chairs on the dock and around the fire pit are so great. We will be back. Thank you Sean for this unique place!

We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. We were blown away how well stocked the home was. Even little things like a can opener was there. Very high quality appliances, towels, and bedding. Gorgeous tall windows and high ceiling. The dock had a nice swimming area as well. Firepit had wood ready. 10/10 perfect stay!
It really felt like I was staying in my own lake house.
Super nice and cozy home on a nice lot along the west side of Lake Leelanau. This home is designed in a Scandinavian style, with a clean, minimalist look and the decor is wonderful - adding warmth and charm to the ambiance. It is a few miles south of Lake Leelanau town, so perfect for anywhere on the Leelanau peninsula. Feels isolated due to the trees and vegetation, even though there are neighbors, which is very nice.Inside, there are two smallish bedrooms (the house has no wasted space, but does not feel crampled), a large room that combines kitchen, dining and living, and a passageway lined with storage cabinets and a workspace with built-in desk. Listing says "sleeps four", and that is accurate. Large groups will not fit here, but it is perfect for two couples or one couple with two children who can share a bed. Both bedrooms have queen beds. Second bedroom bath is a couple steps outside the bedroom and serves also as guest bathroom. Master has walk-in shower and tub, while second bath has walk-in shower. The master suite on the backside has a nice view of the wetlands area between house and lake. Second bedroom on front side looks out at a natural area alongside the road (which here is dirt/gravel, but no 4-wheel drive required). Windows are large and floor-to-ceiling; there are no window treatments, so be advised. Host Sean is super responsive and easy to work with - we texted a few times and he was always trying to help. We would def stay here again.
