The property is older than it looks online but was in a great location. Hot tub was fabulous in the cold evening. The cover could have been on the side of tub so you can look out to the boat docks.
This rental was a great fit for my family. We enjoyed fishing for bass on the dock and making great meals in the well equipped kitchen. We loved this rental!
We loved our home and location in Tahoe. We rent a boat one day and they delivered the boat to our homes dock.
The views were great from all three balcony’s.
We would select this home again for future stays.
House was very well equipped. Everything worked well. Loved the kayaks right in the back on the water and a pool table, ping pong table were fun. Solid kitchen and deck with grill was great.
It was a very nice house but no AC and that would have helped. There were not enough towels in the bathrooms but we washed and found others.
The beach just a few minutes away was great. Our youngest son caught a lot
Of fish.
All of the stairs were difficult for us due to our age (80 ish). Interior very dated. Neighbors asked us "are you going to remodel". Loved the location and the Lake!
I was brought to Tahoe on business and arrangements were made for me to stay and enjoy the weekend. While we only scratched the surface of all this home had to to offer, we thoroughly enjoyed at stay. From billiards, to ping pong to kayaking, there were plenty of entertainment options at this unique property. I hope we can come again and enjoy more of it. One highlight to share - watching a bald eagle soar across the master bedroom vista. Magnificent!
We rented this house for a week and it was perfect. It is a large, expansive home in a very well kept neighborhood right on the water of the Tahoe Keys. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the views, playing ping pong and the pool table. It is very conveniently located. It's in a quiet neighborhood, yet just a minute from Tahoe Blvd and all the happenings at South Lake Tahoe. We definitely recommend this house to others looking for a great place to stay at South Lake Tahoe.
We stayed July 20-27, 2019. The home is in a gorgeous neighborhood and on the waterway. Views of the Lake and the marsh areas abound. The home is larger than expected and the rooms are big. The living areas are generous as is the dining area, master, patios and baths. There is plenty of room for all to spread out and excellent gathering areas around the pool table and ping pong table, view decks. The master shower is like a rock stream set up and fun to walk in and enjoy. The master is oversized, clean, affords much counter and sink space and relaxation and has its own deck. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful from many areas in the home. The laundry room is large and handles all your needs. They have two refrigerators for your use. All of us enjoyed this home for different reasons. The prettiest beaches we saw were Meeks and DL Bliss and our fav day trip was to Angora Lake. Great value for the convenience and comfort.

Ugly Duckling on a Beautiful Street
I am a regular VRBO customer. This time we wanted to stay in the Lake Tahoe area. Since this was a last minute plan, we found this house that had the dates we wanted. The pictures don't truly show how dated this house really is. Usually hosts give you a nice welcome to their home, this was pretty stale. I felt like I was intruding even though I paid a pretty penny for a few nights. The towels were hard. The floors in the bathrooms really need a deep clean. Sink in one of the bedrooms does not work at all. Fire place in main living room did not work. Since the house was dated, it did smell a bit musty. The owner should also provide signage about bears. While we were sleeping, we were awaken by a bear roaming about the house (no there was no food outside or in our cars). I love the area, but I would not stay at this house again.
Robin the owner of the property was what made this stay even better. She was super helpful and went out of her way to make us feel at home.
Excellent property , would move here permanently 😂
Our family loved the house, very clean, spacious and comfortable. Good location in a residential neighborhood, steps from the lakefront. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. Robin was very responsive to each of my inquiries. WIFI was very weak or not working, but other than that everything was perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Tahoe Keys. The house is equipped with all the amenities you need for a week long getaway. Decks on each level to walk out and enjoy the sunrise or evening to watch the sunset.
There were six adults in our group and we had ample room during our stay. We spent the majority of our time at the dining room table when at the house to game-plan our next day's excursion. The best part was the location. Easy in and easy out of the neighborhood to get to local restaurants and shopping. Only about an hour to hour and half drive to Incline Village and Truckee. Emerald Bay was right around the corner as well. We would highly recommend staying here for a visit to Lake Tahoe.
Robin is very easy to work with and quick with communicating. Thank you very much!
Great communication with owner. We loved the house, very spacious, very clean. Great bar downstairs with a pool table, ping pong table outside. We used the kayaks and hot tub as well. It’s a wonderful place to stay and a great location, next to the beach. We would definitely stay again!!

House better than owner/property mgr.
Our stay got off to a bad start, as we were chastised by the manager for meeting our family at the house 1 hour early. To make matters worse, the small service dog (advised and approved a full year prior) became the subject of an irate attitude from the mgr. I suggested the mgr check the contract, but she didn't bother to check it out, or at least didn't apologize for her mistake.
Once we checked in, things went fine with the house, altho we happened to pick the only 100+ degree days I have ever experienced at Tahoe, and the house has no A/C. That's by no means the fault of the property or the manager, but may have something to do with her short temper.
Everthing worked properly! Beds and Tv's were great The pool table, ping pong table, and spa were great! Kitchen was complete, lacking nothing. Even a full spice rack!
The owner/mgr topped off our stay with her retort to my query on dealing with the linens upon leaving, advising us that she would be there at 9am on our last day! (The contract called for vacating by 9:30am)
I enjoyed dealing with VRBO, and plan to use them again soon. We have no intention to bother with this owner/mgr any further.
Robin was very responsive when we had a few initial questions after arriving at the property. The home is exactly as seen in the photos. The master suite is huge with incredible views of the mountains. The kids loved using the available kayaks paddling throughout the canals and out to the lake. The lake was a short 2 minute walk from the house. It did get warm during the days and as there’s no A/C you need to keep the doors open to get a breeze. Though the nights did cool down it usually wasn’t until 10pm. It also could have been the timing we were there as the Pacific Northwest was experiencing a major heat wave. There were several floor fans available that helped out at night. We would definitely stay at this home again.
Great location and amenities. House was comfortable. We went during a heat wave, 80s, and house has no AC. There were fans and we used them, opening windows as needed.
This house was great for our family. We loved having the pool table and ping pong table, and the kitchen was super well equipped. We loved the views out both the front and back of the property. We would definitely stay here again.
Woke up to glorious views, used as base for casual walks on the beach across road, kayaking off the back porch, or long hikes in mountains beyond. Made dinner in the well-equipped kitchen, lingered in the hot tub, and finished the day watching Godfather II (filmed up the road) in front of the fire.
