The host was easy to communicate with and it was a cute little place the stay. The floors were slightly dirty but other than that we had no other complaints! I would stay here again if I’m in the area.
Great place for a little weekend getaway. The floors were slightly dirty along with some other things, but host was very welcoming. Plenty of parking, close to downtown and KY.
The rental was marginally clean. Bathroom towels were stained making it difficult to assess cleanliness. The temps varied (morning temps in the low 30s) considerably during my stay. On the coldest of days the host would text me and as me NOT to turn on the heat or adjust the thermostat because it controlled the entire house and it was expensive to heat. While she offered room heaters, I was asked to constantly reassure the host I was not adjusting the thermostat. The “bbq” area was nothing more than an unkept outdoor crawl space. The most disappointing stay. Had another been available during our family emergency, I would have left and asked for a refund! Because of the behavior of the host, I felt it necessary to take pictures of the rental the morning I exited (in its entirety) to show I left it in clean condition.I DO NOT recommend this rental.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially during a family emergency.
We do want to provide a bit of additional context for future guests. This space was created as an affordable way for visitors to experience Cincinnati while traveling on a lower budget, with rates around $100 per night. As a local educator and homeowner, I work hard to keep the space accessible while managing the increasing utility and maintenance costs that many residents in our area are currently experiencing.
The home operates on a shared boiler and radiator heating system, which services the entire house, including the unit where my family resides. Due to unusually cold temperatures during your stay, I reached out several times after noticing that the thermostat had been adjusted outside of the house rules. My intention was never to make you uncomfortable, but rather to maintain the system responsibly for the whole property. Space heaters were offered to provide additional warmth, though they were declined.
I also appreciate the feedback regarding the outdoor area. The property does include a grill and seating area on the back porch, and a larger grill is available upon request for guests who would like to use it.
While I understand we may not have been the right fit for your stay, I do appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. I genuinely wish you and your family the
The neighborhood was close to where we needed to be, we felt safe walking around, and street noise and people noise were not a problem. Everything worked, including the appliances, lights, heating, etc. Faith responded to our requests in a very timely manner, even checking to make sure we were ok during a short power outage. Parking was difficult during dinner times, 4pm to 9 pm, because of the restaurant at the end of the street.
Nice unit and nice location. I stayed here 5 days and never had to search for street parking. Host was very friendly and responsive. Had multiple fans and space heaters in unit which I liked. The listing says it can sleep 6, to me it can only handle 2 adults and 1 child. The bed sleeps 2 and the futon isn’t long enough for a tall adult. The kitchen had pots and pans for cooking but only 2 forks and 2 plates.
