Close to downtown with some serious long term stay concerns. ask about the things below before!
I was there 105 nights for an internship by myself.
Lock on door is good. It’s in a mini complex with parking but parking isn’t guaranteed. I was told to “you are fine to park on the street” when the lot was full…. in an area with tons of construction and ghetto spots.
So it is basically a studio. Couch is a futon. No table, no chair. got bed bugs week 1. Long hair in the drawers. Closet is insanely small. I used the kitchen to store stuff. Shower is the nicest part of the vrbo. Air conditioning works well. The floor was completely destroyed and they only told me of it an hour before I got there. I guess the tenant before me was 500 pounds (that’s what I was told) and broke the floor in the kitchen, by the couch and at the foot of the bed. They apologized but I received no compensation. I had to wear socks when I was there because I cut my foot on the torn floor by the garbage can early into the stay. From my understanding the floors are being fixed now.
Two TVs. Never used the one in the bedroom. Living room one I used twice for a mavericks game. Then I tried to turn it on for the March madness and it wouldn’t turn on. The power would go out all the time due to tons of construction next to the building and my bet is that it shorted or something because I literally never used the tv other than those times. I was assessed a fee and have now paid it. Taj communicates well about the property. No mailbox.
Just ask Taj about these things beforehand and it will help you decide
