Porch Swing Place - Newly Renovated Charm

Come and enjoy the relaxing feel in this classic home located in the heart of Springfield. Newly updated, but still retaining it’s early mid century charm.
The space
Our house features an inviting front porch, 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, a spacious living area with a smart TV, formal dining room, and a sunroom/game room which includes a foosball table and second smart TV, with comfortable beds and furnishings throughout. There is also laundry room in the basement with a washer and dryer and a fenced back yard.
Note: the sunroom has one heating and air conditioner vent into the room but it does not have a cold air return and the windows are only storm windows. This means that on the hotter and colder days of the year the temperature in this room might not be quite as comfortable, although there is a ceiling fan and an extra heater in the winter.

Comfortable Springfield Cottage

What a wonderful place to stay with friends or family! Three comfy bedrooms, darling sunroom with seating and foosball table, roomy family room, and dining room, clean kitchen with everything you need! The fenced yard and plenty of parking space makes for a great place to stay. We had a wonderful experience!

My grandson’s came up to stay here when James River Church had their men’s conference. It worked perfectly and the owners were wonderful to deal with! If you ever need to stay in Springfield , this would be a great choice.

This is a really nice, very well-maintained, cozy house. We were impressed by how clean everything was, how quiet the neighborhood is, and how close to all of the attractions, restaurants, and stores it is. We always felt comfortable in the house and neighborhood. The owners were great about communication before our stay and were very friendly. We’ve already talked about a return trip to Springfield and how we would love to stay in this house again!

We were very pleased with this rental. 3 bedrooms and a fenced yard!! Quiet neighborhood, the street is a little busy sometimes. Nice neighbor came to say Hi. Great layout for entertaining friends. Loved the sun room.

Check in and out was easy. The host was very accommodating and friendly. The street lost power while we were there. We called her and she gave us several options. She called utility department for us. We chose to stay at the house and wait. Power was only out for about 40 minutes. Nice house and fenced in yard worked great for our dog.

The house was nice but had a weird smell and is in a bad neighborhood next to a creepy house. I couldnt ait outside on the porch and relax bexause the neighbors across the street wete fighting a screaming over drugs. There are a lot of addicts in the area that run up and down the street yelling. I was very uncomfortable. Sitting in the bacl wasnt relaxing either since the backyard is connected to a graveyard.

I am really sorry you did not have a have the awesome experience we want our guests to have. I wish we could have relieved your fears during your stay. This is a great house, in a great, though older, neighborhood. The neighbors on each side of the house have both lived there for about 30 years and they are wonderful. Any incident where people might be walking down the street screaming would have to be an isolated incident as that is not the norm at all. Most of our guests really love staying here.
