The cabin was clean and well stocked. This is a perfect place to get away. It is secluded and quiet. We loved sitting outside by the fire pit and watching the deer and other wildlife. The host was helpful and accessible. Highly recommend!
The host was very nice and stayed in contact well prior to and during our stay. The accommodations were great with teenagers and made for a perfect getaway. Great place to stay.

Perfect getaway especially if you have kid's or grandkids. The loft was so adorable. Great communication with the host. We seen deer and a big ole groundhog, picked peaches off of the peach tree and grapes from the grapevine. Perfect place for a family. I give it 5 out of 5.

Thank you! Glad to host you. You are welcome back anytime
I stayed here for a work trip and I don’t have any complaints about the stay! Rod was very quick to respond with any questions. Very quiet and secluded area. Would recommend to anyone.
Better than the photos. Very pretty area, comfortable house and has everything you need. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because the AC was off when we arrived (after 8 PM) and the house was about 85 degrees and did not cool to a comfortable sleeping temp until the middle of the first night. The second night was perfect. Would stay here again.
What a wonderful place this was, and what a gracious host! The descriptions of this property fall utterly short. We had a wonderful time centered around this beautiful home in the mountains. There are so many things to do within a few miles. We went mountain biking, antique shopping, dined at some really nice restaurants, and so much more. My only regret was that we didn't book more days. We will be going back as soon as we get a chance, so we can do some kayaking on the beautiful Greenbrier river, and catch a few more good trails. overall it was a wonderful experience, and the host was very responsive and thoughtful. this was my best experience with VRBO so far. I highly recommend this secret little gem in the woods...
Delightful little cabin out in the country but near a wonderful little coffee & bakery shop at Sinks Grove, The Hunkerdown, great place. The cabin was spotless and had lots of little directions on how to use what was available. Lots of different areas to hang out inside and outdoors. Peaceful & quiet with wonderful views. It does have a lot of stairs because it is built into a hillside, but they all have sturdy hand-rails. I would highly recommend this cabin to people who are any age, but they do need to be able to go up and down stairs & a ladder for the loft if you have young kids. For us it was perfect. We would book this Vrbo again.
Wonderful well-cared for cabin in the country-side. Spotlessly clean, quiet and private, this house is situated on a sunny hillside facing west for sunsets on the furnished deck or by the fire pit on the expansive lawn. Perfect for a "get away from it all" vacation.
Owner is extremely responsive and answered one query I had within minutes. Fully equipped kitchen that includes fresh eggs for breakfast and burgers in the freezer! Small downtown Lewisburg is minutes away for groceries, restaurants, etc.
A couple of tips - try to check in before dark - the cabin is situated on a winding narrow (paved) road, and you need to navigate a gravel driveway to the front door. Easier in the daylight. The front gate is secured with a small chain that appears to be padlocked - it's not - just lift up on the chain to loosen it and it will free itself. Highly recommend this property!
