Absolutely loved staying here. Laundry, dishwasher, close walking distance to wonderful places. Absolute must if you're looking at where to be in Chicago!
Exactly what we were looking for. Cute place and cute area. Coincidentally was the neighborhood a relative grew up in so that was very cool! Really enjoyed our time here and communication was good!
Host was very welcoming. Even made the extra effort to provide a Christmas Tree knowing we were spending Christmas in Chicago!! It was a very nice touch.
Really cute property within walking distance of major attractions! Sebastian was very responsive and the property was clean and the beds very comfortable! Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Chicago!
Everything was perfect. The two TVs kept my husband & son during downtime. The location was literally 5 minutes from my daughter’s house which was soooo convenient. The neighborhood appeared safe & festive for the holidays. The Christmas tree added a much homey feeling
We enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable apartment. All you could need including a back deck with a nice yard. It was close to our family and in a nice Roscoe Village area neighborhood. It was also a good location for us to attend a wedding and reception in the Lincoln Park neighborhood near the zoo. Montrose Beach is close too.
I loved the location of this downstairs property. Property itself was very clean and comfortable with a lot of nice little touches like toiletries in the bathroom and Ramen noodle cups in the kitchen. The neighborhood itself was delightful. Many people were out walking, including families pushing strollers. And the Paulina station for the Loop train was a convenient 10 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a concert at Wrigley and this was perfect! This home was amazing and so comfortable! We loved the little patio out back to hang out. We couldn’t hear the train or traffic from outside. We had everything we needed and then some. The owner was amazing and answered every question we had and even suggested places to eat. I really appreciated this so much. Would definitely come back!

Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed your stay!
We booked this property in April and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing rental experiences we’ve had.To start, the home is not as advertised. The listing photos and prior reviews create the impression of a well-maintained property, but in reality, the home is significantly more run down. Nearly every surface showed visible wear with scuffs, burn marks, water damage, and stained carpeting. Several items throughout the home appeared broken or in serious disrepair. While the home itself has charm and is in an acceptable area, we initially tried to overlook the cosmetic issues since we only needed the space for a short stay. However, things quickly escalated beyond “cosmetic.”Both bedrooms were in unacceptable condition:In one room the pillows were visibly dirty, the bedding appeared used, and there were crumbs and debris in the bed. The mattress had stains, and the carpet showed clear signs of not being cleaned. The second room presented a serious health concern. The mattress cover was heavily stained, including what appeared to be blood and extensive yellowing. This goes far beyond poor housekeeping, it is a potential biohazard and completely unacceptable for any rental property. When we presented photo evidence and raised these concerns, the host was combative and accusatory even after acknowledging that the beds were not clean. There was no accountability and no effort to resolve the situation appropriately. DO NOT STAY HERE!
