Welcome to OC Pura Vida!

Spend a week enjoying the unmatched, relaxed beauty of the Atlantic Ocean from this nicely updated unit. The master bedroom is direct oceanfront with views from both the large window and the sliding door to the balcony. The second bedroom has two queen beds and sleeps 4. Both bathrooms have a full bathtub/shower. The living and dining rooms are bright and cheerful with an additional set of windows. The sliding door to the balcony allows for expansive views of the ocean. Amenities include a couch that is a queen size sleeper, a 55-inch flat screen TV and blue ray player and wireless, high-speed internet. The kitchen is fully remodeled and stocked with flatware, dishes and glasses. Keurig, microwave, refrigerator, stove, garbage disposal add to the appeal. And, to top it off, there is a laundry room in the unit with a full-size washer and dryer. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys and linens are all provided.

Deadbolt has doorbell camera.

OC regulations prevent us from renting to more than 4 unrelated people.

High school seniors are welcome *only if accompanied by an adult 21 or older.* Please do not send an inquiry or reservation request if you do not meet the above requirements.

The location is perfect, you can walk directly out to the beach. Had everything necessary for a comfortable stay for a family of 5. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Had the best weekend here! The condo is very clean and is stocked up to make your stay comfortable (towels, dishes, coffee maker, etc). The location is very convenient and the patio looks out to the beach which we loved. Grace is such a great host and did everything she could to make sure we had a great weekend. We can’t wait to come back!

Grace was responsive and helpful in the planning of our vacation. She offered suggestions for attractions and activities. The location of the property was just perfect. Everything was neat, clean, and the washer/dryer was a lifesaver for our large family!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It had everything we needed and truly felt like home. The view is spectacular and you can enjoy the sunrise right from the bed in master bedroom. The location is super convenient to everything. Easy and quick walk to the boardwalk, other activities and multiple great restaurants. Thank you Grace for your hospitality and we are looking forward to returning soon.

Amazing location and property!

Just left an awesome week at this property. Grace was so wonderful with communication - restaurant recommendations- things to do on a rainy day etc. can't really get closer to the beach ! Condo is fully stocked with linens - towels - dishes - pots and pans etc. would def recommend ! Thank you for sharing your lovely spot with us! The Scully's!

It was the week that Hurricane Florence was coming to shore but our group of dedicated high school girlfriends are so glad we took a chance! The condo was lovely and convenient and we ended up with out any rain! Our hostess met us at the property to let us in and was so warm and welcoming. Great Place, Great Owner

This place was perfect for our family of 4 (including a 5 year old and a 3 year old). Both the place and owner are consistent with the description, great rating and prior reviews. It is quite a bargain compared to the other options in OC/DE. The place was incredibly clean and well stocked with everything you could reasonably expect and more (including plenty of beach towels and nice beach chairs and toys). The bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable (better than our own bed). The beach access is convenient. Grace is very responsive, flexible and accommodating. If we are able to take this trip next year, we would love to stay here again.

Nice Place, A bit dated

We enjoyed the place for our family weekend trip. I felt the place was dated - carpet & furniture... There were flies that kept coming in probably due to broken window screens. One of the toilets was not flushing properly, I notified owner who offered to fix immediately. I said no. For a rental, it could be better maintained. Overall, it was good as owner was responsive & location was great.

Great oceanfront find in OC!

We were in OC for a cheer competition, and really wanted somewhere that we could be relaxed and not be in a hotel. We were right across from the convention center, so the location was perfect. The owner met us there, got us settled in with a tour and left us some cheese and crackers. The place was perfect! Nice and bright, great view, perfect for our little group and an end unit. Beds were comfy, fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Also had linens and towels, we didn't need to bring anything. Great patio with a table, loved sitting out and enjoying the view. Close to everything, about 2 miles to the grocery store, close to the boardwalk, a great location. Will definitely return!!

I’d stay again

Tough to check in. We did not receive the access id. Somehow someone had the wrong phone number. Digital lock was straight forward but only worked 50% of the time. Fortunately, there was a manual key that we could use which gained us entry when we arrived late. Unit was really nice but smelled like urine. Most beach places smell like beach. But this one had a strong urine smell. Day 2 we picked up a bottle of fabreez and did fine. We would return. The owners were helpful.

Super Summer Stay!

I am very picky when it comes to renting for vacation. The unit couldn't have been cleaner, you could tell that it was well taken care of (even the corners of floors were spotless). The owner Grace was very helpful and gave us great ideas for restaurants, activities and made sure if we needed anything she could be reached easily. She was especially wonderful! It was very helpful to have beach supplies and towels and linens here. It lightened our load to pack! The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and other important utensils.( I often travel with half my kitchen because I am not sure what the house will have, I won't have to do that again when I rent from Grace next summer!) Although this unit is in a larger building and on the first floor, I could not tell there were any other renters there. The wall are thick and block all noise! We loved how close we were to the beach. The vacation kept two teenagers and adults very happy and safe in our beach house!

Fantastic, Excellent location, WILL RETURN

The property was incredible. The value was unbeatable. Any and every appliance you could possibly need (washer, dryer, dishwasher - even a Keurig). We had a fantastic weeked! The property is very well taken care of. We were one of the first people to use the property even before it was "ready" for rental. I'll be honest, when we first were told this, we couldn't believe it. We made a last minute decision to come down for Labor Day 2013 and the homeowners were very accommodating on the short notice. The property was fantastic. You can tell they take pride in their property. Everything was organized and cleaned upon arrival. Questions were answered promptly and they were more than happy to answer and assist us with any concern we had. Beach chairs/toys/boogie and surfboards were provided along with beach towels. The Smart TV in the living room was at least 50 inches. We didn't watch much tv, but cooking and sharing some beers with pandora in the background was a nice touch. The property slept 6 comfortably, and there was even room for more with the sleeper-sofa in the living room. The location was fantastic and unbeatable. I highly recommend you visit the property for yourself to see what you're missing. You'll be glad you did and in turn, have a property you'll love to come back to year after year. Grace is a great host. She was very responsive to questions I had regarding the unit. The condominium was very clean upon arrival and had all necessary amenities. The washer and dryer was so nice to have, especially with two young children. The unit was also well stocked with extra bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels. Other beach accessories (chairs and toys) were also available. What we loved most is the condo's proximity to the beach. A quick walk and you have your toes in the sand! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and 100% recommended Grace and her condo for your next visit to OCMD.

I found this property to be very good. It is in a prime location....very easy access and well maintained for an older unit. The only negative was the AC unit was a bit noisey...but worked fine otherwise. Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Family Vacation

We had a great vacation. Grace was helpful before we arrived with some of our last minute packing questions and even during our stay if we had questions. They have everything there. Beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. You can show up with your clothes and toiletries and stroll right to the beach. Wake up and drink your coffee on the balcony while you watch the sunrise over the dunes. We had the best and most relaxing family vacation yet. Highly recommend.

Because we are a local family who love the beach, we wanted somewhere to crash while enjoying our summer, and we love it so much we want to share it! We know the best places to play and even better places to eat. If you want a home to bring your family to year after year, give our place a try, you won't be disappointed.

What makes this property unique

It took us 2 years of searching to find the perfect place. Just step out the doors onto the balcony and you'll know why. There is nothing like the beach to help you relax. If the view isn't enough, add in falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves and you'll be hooked.
