Great place, very quiet and peaceful. Owners were very helpful and friendly.
We had a wonderful time! The host is friendly and responsive; the cabin is clean and spacious. The hot tub is large, my kids loved it. The game room downstairs was the perfect family hang out, with air hockey, foosball and numerous other board games and activities. We loved the idea of a coffee corner in the main bedroom, and the private balcony was a favorite spot for mom. The kitchen is open and updated. We did not bring pets but love that there is a fenced in area, dog toys, beds and bowls available if needed. The closets are spacious and laundry area is easily accessible. The cabin is super close to town, shops and activities with no need for a truck or 4-wheel drive.Would highly recommend!
We had a great weekend at the cabin. The weather did not cooperate for our plans so it was nice to have the hot tub and rec room to entertain the kids! Beautiful scenery and ample outdoor space. We would certainly stay again.
We had a lovely time and the few problems we had were quickly solved by the hosts. The hot tub is on a slight incline and water does splash out easily (so the water level got lower each entrance and made the jets get a little wonky). The air hockey table has seen some better days but it was fine for people not trying to win a competition. The kitchen was actually fully stocked as opposed to so many places. That made this day so much better not having to worry about how to actually cook meals. The listing is inaccurate in places. The fireplaces are on the first floor and in the basement not in the master. We never did find the Blackstone grill they were referring to but there was another grill. The listing doesn't mention that it is rather close to another house. Which probably wouldn't be a problem for most people but I like to be open. This in no way changes my rating, but I feel I should mention it in case you have family members with large feet like we do. The stair treads are quite narrow. Which again is fine during daylight hours or when you have the lights on but can be tricky to traverse if you're not paying attention or it's dark. Just be careful going up and down the stairs. They are steep and narrow. Not like historical building narrow but narrow enough. Overall, this was a lovely location. The beds were comfy, the porches were cool and lovely, and the work space area was great.
The cozy interior of the cabin invites you to unwind. The stone fireplace and well-equipped kitchen create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Cute decor throughout the cabin. The basement/game room was extra bonus. It was only 10-15 minutes from Blue Ridge. The small fenced in area is a nice plus for anyone with fur babies.Owners were very responsive.
