Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautifully designed and well equipped condo. Truly the best I have ever stayed in! Walking distance to town and to River Run Lodge was a plus. The only down side is you can hear EVERYTHING the upstairs neighbor is doing; from using the bathroom (literally) to running the washing machine. If you are a light sleeper you may have issues because it starts early. The 2nd bedroom wasn't quite as bad because the bathroom is directly above the bedroom like it is in the master and running fans definitely helped. I would rent the until again but not if it is still being managed by Alpine Lodging. Worst experience ever! Put us in a terrible bind and ended up costing me A LOT!

Wonderful

This condo was the perfect place to come back to after skiing. It's clean and spacious in the most ideal location. An easy walk into town and the shuttle to the mountain is right across the street. Would and plan to come back!

Perfect ski condo

This condo was excellent location- walk to town and the mountain and it was the most well-stocked vrbo we’ve ever had. It’s not big but everything you need! (Note to mgmt company: the hot tub was not at all warm enough— May need a tune up?) everything else just perfect though!

Perfect location

The condo is walking distance to both Bald Mountain and the town which was perfect for a family. Great hot tub!! Greatly appreciated that the condo was well stocked - everything you needed in the kitchen and spices, oils and zip locs, laundry detergent to start was greatly appreciated. Also the grill was great and lots of fire wood. We tried to leave it as well stocked as we found it for the next group. One criticism is that the washer/dryer could use an upgrade - it took 2-3 cycles to get a regular load dry. Otherwise 5 stars!!

Nice place but charges add up

Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice place to stay but the additional charges for cleaning, taxes, admin costs made the place twice the listed price - in the end, it was not worth the price. You can find places as nice for a lot less cost.

You booked with VRBO and they charge a service fee which adds up in the end. Book direct with Alpine Lodging and you don't pay those extra fees that third party places like VRBO and Airbnb charge for booking on their websites.

Good overall but lacked some basic amenities

Property was as advertised very clean. However, we checked in after hours after coming off a rafting trip and found there to be no laundry detergent or coffee filters for the next morning. Those seem like basic provisions to me for a VRBO in a condo.When I reached out to the management office they were mildly apologetic but said that we should not expect either of those items to be provided. Aside from that, good stay.
