Florida Getaway

We have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the past several years and this is by far the best experience we have had to date. The house had everything we needed and more and is perfect for families. It couldn't have been cleaner. The host responded quickly, were very accommodating and made us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Anniversary getaway!

We stayed for two days. Checkin was easy! It was our anniversary weekend and we saw a concert that weekend and enjoyed our time with some friends. Had a blast in the game room. The pool was lovely. The outside seating area is nice and the neighborhood was quiet. Very clean when we arrived. The owners were very accommodating with everything in the house. Towels, soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, and they had a very nicely stocked kitchen for cooking while we were there. We received a lovely welcome treat that was for our anniversary, so that was very nice and unexpected. The place was just as it looks in the listing no surprises. Good central location for the beach or going to town. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would stay again if in the area!

Stay at the Cape

I did not stay but there were alot of the items damaged or broken. Too much to list and the Host was horrible and harrassing throughout my sisters stay which ruined her experience with her 18th birthday celebration with her last daughter. I had to go to the store and purchase 2 pool sticks because the existing ones in the game room were broken. The gameroom couch was broken and my cousin was carrying her baby nephew and hurt her back when she went to sit down. The back rest was broken. The floating amenities in the pool were leaking and the pool basket ball hoop was broken and I accidentally stepped in a piece of plastic that was broken on the base of it. The grill was disgusting. I took the time to take it apart and clean it thoroughly. The Dryer took almost 2 hours to dry 4 towels and made sure the lint filter was clean. The Refrigerator inside light would work on and off. My sister was also overcharged for extra guests that never stayed over night they left at 1:30 in the morning because of such a long trip from jacksonville. This was a celebration and guests came and visited and left just to see my sisters daughter (niece) birthday. It was never a party and by the rules and definition of VRBO of a party means disruptive to the neighbors in short and that never happened. Not one complaint from any neighbor. Never again will I book this VRBO or any. The message was crystal clear with the host. If I can give it a 0 I would.

Catherine booked a weekend getaway for six guests, we let her do early checking without cost. but we wish she had been more communicative about her plans to host a family reunion with around 20 guests. We allow seven guests, and any additional guests incur a $25 fee per night, as clearly stated during booking. Additionally, she did not mention that she would be bringing a dog. While we have allowed family reunions in the past with prior communication, and we also allow pets on the property for an extra fee, it would have been appreciated if she had informed us in advance. Furthermore, neighbors complained about people yelling in the driveway after midnight, and more than eight cars were parked on the street, disturbing the neighbors. The next day ten cars were at the street. This is a quiet and safe neighborhood, and we kindly ask for our neighbors to be respected and not disturbed. Due to these issues, we contacted Catherine and sent her the appropriate extra fees. Unfortunately, she was not receptive, and we had to involve VRBO. Effective communication is crucial to avoid any misunderstandings. This house is personally checked by the owner before and after every booking. Everything was left in perfect condition before the booking. We understand things can get broken and are easy to replace so our next guest can enjoy them. Our previous guest can confirm it with their reviews. Unfortunately, some guests like Catherine need to make everything challenging to avoid extra fees. On a positive note, the property was left clean at the end of her stay. Thank you.
