This Shaver Lake retreat was perfect for us. Clean and well equipped and spacious for three adults--one couple, one single brother. Coffee and dinner on the deck with no sound but wind in the trees--there was no bleed from the highway at all and a good neighborhood for walking. We wish it could have been much longer than 4 nights!

So happy you all had a magical mountain getaway! Appreciate you taking the time to submit a review - we’d love to host you again someday. Take care!
The home was exactly as described and even cuter in person. We felt very at home and appreciated the amenities! We were able park easily on the property, even with the snow and are within an easy walking distance to town. The owners were very communicative and kind throughout our stay - we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Thank you Courtney for taking the time to write us a review! We were happy to host your family and glad you enjoyed your snowy mountain getaway! We'd love to host you again any time.
These owners have truly mastered the art of hosting without being present. The cabin was stocked with every amenity imaginable. Over the week, our family ranged from a six-month-old to adults—and even included our family dog. Everyone had exactly what they needed, from clean sheets for the portable crib to the dog toys and even extra toothbrushes in case anyone forgot theirs. The home itself is super cute, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the kitchen setup to the lake accessories—it all made our stay seamless and enjoyable.

Thank you sincerely Daniel for taking the time to submit a review for our cabin! We appreciated you and your family for choosing our cabin!
Perfect dog friendly, beautiful cabin amazingly stocked with everything imaginable by a very communicative host in the most quiet location. Could not have asked for more. 5 min walk to Shaver Lake pizza and surrounding pubs. 15 walk to beach on the Dorabel side of Shaver Lake. Walk up from beach is a little steep but you get use to it after a day or two. The cabin is lovely inside with plenty of warm water, 3 very comfortable beds, large couch for movies… popcorn in the kitchen cabinet and even an indoor smore maker. Outside deck is perfect with chairs and barbecue. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. You won’t be disappointed with your stay.

Ellie had every amenity you could ever need! Beach towels, extra blankets, spices, condiments, etc.Fully equiped kitchen and laundry room. The cabin was so inviting and cozy. We had games to play, tv provided a great selection of cable, bathroom had extra items everyone forgets (razors, toothbrushes, sunscreen, etc ) . Our trip was to spend time with our grandboys and fish. Loved Shaver Lake Road 2 beach and Huntington lake. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
Thank you Ellie for sharing your wonderful cabin!!

Thank you so much Cheryle for taking the time to submit such a thoughtful review! We are grateful for you and happy your family had such a great getaway. Take care!
The home was great for myself and husband (seniors) and my son, his wife and their two young girls (1 yrs & 3 yrs). Sleeping agreements were excellent, the home was very clean. Didn’t look that way when we left, sorry. The beds with very nice sheets and blankets let you get a wonderful night rest. It was just like home. The place has everything you need. If my you forgot something, I’m sure this home has it. The kitchen has everything and loved the way each cabinet and drawer was labeled. They also had everything you need for a great time at the lake. We brought our inflatable kayaks & paddle boards and had fun.. The hike is an incline coming back up, but I’m 77 and I took a couple of sit down breaks. So beautiful and great hikes around the area. The owners are wonderful, easy to contact and on top of everything. Hope to get another visit in.
