Dear Ivette, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your ecxpectations. This is my first and ONLY one star review and I am taking it very seriously. I strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all my guests, and I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. My home is small but cozy and I understand if you felt it wasn’t roomy enough for your group. I thought we went over the sleeping arrangements and you were comfortable with them. I also allowed you to bring a pet regardless of my no pet policy. Regarding the privacy and sleeping areas, I make every effort to clearly describe the layout and features of my home in the listing. There are detailed pictures as well. Each guest clearly sees that beyond the bedroom the couches are the only additional option for sleeping. However, I understand that sometimes expectations can differ, and I will review the listing to ensure everything is as clear as possible. As for the shed, it is clearly stated that this is an outside dwelling and is not connected to the main house. Although it does have electric I never claimed this space was heated or cooled. It is for outdoors entertaining only. As for the amenities, I always aim to go above and beyond for my guests by providing a variety of comforts, such as my renter welcome package on the stove that includes multiple snacks and a s’mores kit, a full coffee and tea area, toiletries that include things typical places do not leave like bug spray and sunblock. A case of water in the fridge. I also left you plenty of wood and starter logs for the fire that I see you enjoyed. As for the temperature inside the house, again your expectations could differ here as well, in addition to my mini split, I offer a window AC unit as well as three powerful fans in every room and plentiful linens throughout the house. I apologize if there was any misunderstanding about the sleeping arrangements or the temperature of the house as well as the number of towels provided; I ensure that six towels were available for your use. I go above and beyond for every single guest and your happiness is my top priority! I hope that despite these issues, you were able to enjoy some aspects of your stay. I hope you also consider that a one star review deeply impacts my score as a host on VRBO. Maybe in the future you could consider reaching out to your hosts and allowing them to make up for any issues you felt were deserving of only one star. However, your feedback is invaluable in helping me improve, and I hope you might consider staying with me again in the future so I can provide the exceptional experience I strive for.
