Great Family Getaway near Helotes.

Don't let the colorful walls throw you off. This home has a stylish atmosphere decked out with beautiful, quality furnishings. Located conveniently on the city's Northwest side, just 9 miles to either theme park; Sea World of San Antonio or Six Flags Fiesta Texas! Grocery stores in the area and quick access to major highway's make getting around town a cinch. Other popular venues nearby include the Northside Natatorium and the National Shooting Complex on Roft Rd.

Regarding our sleeping accommodations, this is a three-bedroom home. The master bedroom has a beautiful King size bed. One of the guest rooms has a queen size bed and the other is a bunk bed room. The bunk bed has a twin size on top, full size on bottom and another queen size futon bed. If you would like, you could bring in an air mattress to place in the Family Room.

Minimum age to rent: 28 years of age or older.

My husband and son stayed for the San Antonio Rodeo Shoot-out, my son was competing in. They enjoyed their stay and was able to get plenty of much needed rest. The house was as described, clean and had plenty of extras. The owner is very attentive and easy to work with. We will return when we are in the area again.

Great location. House was perfect for the 4 family members. Backyard was great to let the two small dogs run. Anything you need is a short drive away. Neighborhood was super quiet. Definitely would stay again.

We had a great stay, the home had all that we needed for our visit. The location was perfect, our families live close by so that was really nice. The home was very comfy and we felt right at home. Great Place To Getaway in San Antonio

The property was nice, very clean and had a lot of extra's there if needed (Ex. Bike, Stroller, Wagon, etc). If was nice to have these items available if needed. Quiet neighborhood - well appointed house

The property had nearly everything we could want for our 4 night vacation to San Antonio. No conditioner, but otherwise everything else was present. The property was clean upon our arrival and even though we failed to complete the required rental agreement in advance, the manager worked quickly with us to get it resolved and grant us access to the property. Would gladly stay again, especially for Sea World - super convenient.

My family stayed at the house for 6 days and it was exactly like the listing. We had a problem with wifi and reached out to Mr Carlos and he immediately came by to fix it. A few days later a light bulb went out and reached out to ask where the extra bulbs were and he sent his son to bring more. We loved our stay there.

Great stay!

My family and I stayed at this home due to affordability and location. We were traveling to seaworld and it was a very convenient location! About 15 mins away. Also many store etc located near! Everything was as described and we had everything we needed! Only improvement I would recommend would be the pans to cook in, we had fajitas one night and breakfast another morning, everything stuck.. it still got the job done but it was a pain cleaning them after. And the master bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable but again still got the job done, was a place to lay our head at night! Other than that Carlos was very responsive and had no issues with the home or neighborhood! Would recommend to others!

The home was very nice to have the privacy the extra room

Our stay was great,Carlos actually got my family and I out of a bind.We had two homes prior to his take our money,only to turn around and cancel because it was already booked.How that was able to happen I don’t know but Carlos did everything in his power to accommodate our situation needless to say we were very thankful for his understanding and sense of urgency.

This house was colorful and welcoming. Big enough for our whole family to spend time together! Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Close to everything we needed and a quick 15 minute drive to Sea World. 10 minutes to Mary’s Tacos, which is a must if you come to San Antonio. The beds were very comfortable! Carlos was very responsive and a great host!

Great property on NW side of San Antonio! Check in and check out was flawless; we stayed 8 days and never needed to contact property manager. Didn't even use the bunk bed bedroom during our stay but can definately see the advantage for a larger group with kids. Would definately stay again!

Great Stay

This is a property that my family and I will stay at in the future House is well kept, all the necessary amenities where there when we arrived. This is first property we stayed that was beyond expectations. Everything was comfortable and the location was great. It is truly close to SeaWorld and Six Flags and has a wide variety of resturants within minutes of it's location. Very easy access to Loop 1604. Thanks again to the owner

Hello! My name is Carlos; owner and founder of SA Vacay (San Antonio Vacation Rental Homes). I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. My wife Stephanie and I have 6 children; 4 boys and 2 girls!

I am a God-fearing, bible believing Christian and seek to glorify God with this home and our commitment to service towards all of our guests. I am one of the deacons at Grace Community Church of San Antonio (www.gccsatx.com & www.illbehonest.com). If you are looking for a church to visit while in San Antonio, we would be glad to have you and your family!

I enjoy working from home where my children are home-schooled. My wife enjoys gardening and raising her chickens; she wants a goat but I don't know about that. :-) I enjoy riding my bike at the San Antonio Mission Trails, Down Town, Riverwalk, and some other places, including a little off-road mountain biking.

Why they chose this property

Well I didn’t choose San Antonio, God chose it for me 40 years ago. Oblivious to how great our city is, I spent most of my teenage & early 20’s hoping to travel to other cities and for an opportunity to experience life anywhere but San Antonio. The Lord saved me when I was 25 yrs old and I realized that there was nothing new under the sun. Wanting to run from my home town would have been nothing more than chasing after the wind.

In 2001, I started working for a service contractor which provided me an opportunity to travel. I would always stay in a box (hotel), and if there was any leisure time, I would get in the rental car and explore the city’s scenery. It was nice but lacking a personalized experience. I wanted to know more about the city than just its buildings and scenery. I wanted to know the people and the experience of being a local; or at least feel like one for a few days. I thought, if I could stay amongst the people, then perhaps I could meet interesting people, share the gospel of Jesus Christ and build friendships.

What an opportunity we all have when renting a Vacation Rental Home! I once did a site visit at Disney World in Orlando Florida for a contract. There was an area in Downtown Disney that could convert your child’s hair, makeup and attire to become a princess for the day. Well you could become a San Antonian for a few days or even a few weeks when staying in one of my vacation homes! Come get to know the neighbors, community, and my fellow San Antonian’s!

San Antonio is a beautiful city that has preserved its history and provides an aura of nostalgia. The Alamo, Missions, Riverwalk, Market Square, King William Historical District, La Villita, etc…, make the city attractive, romantic and family oriented. The city is vast and widespread with amenities such as countless golfing venues, shops, theme parks (Sea World & Six Flags), museums, nature parks, zoo, sporting events, horseback riding, bike trails, swimming, shooting, hunting, etc...

What makes this property unique

This home is located in a wonderful community with very friendly neighbors. My home is colorful, lively and elegant all at the same time. The outside covered patio is large and perfect for barbecues, larger family gatherings and children having ice cream on a hot Summer day. The backyard is fully enclosed so you may have peace of mind while the children run and play. This home is conveniently located in the middle of both Sea World of San Antonio and Six Flags Fiesta Texas; 9 miles to either theme park!!!
