Excellent location and comfortable place.

This place is well-designed for a weekend visit to the beach. There was a charcoal grill in back and washer and dryer in the unit. I will definitely stay there again.

The house was cute, but it wasn’t very clean. The bathroom toilet still had traces of feces in it, as did the toilet cleaning brush. The bathroom as a whole wasn’t very clean, traces of pee on the wall as well. The backyard wasn’t mowed at all, I told them I had 2 small dogs and the grass was nearly up to my waist. The window had been broken on the outside pane, just several things that could have been fixed for a better stay. Overall I loved the location but wish the house was better prepped for guests to stay.

While the property clean, comfortable and well furnished, we dealt with several cockroaches (somewhat given in a coastal town but still gross), there wasn’t a folder with instructions left out so we did the best we could when we left, the wifi network and password sent by VRBO were wrong, and though the owner Eddie (who had been contacted because the check-in lock box code sent by VRBO was also wrong), gave me his cell number, I hesitated to contact him at 9:30 at night when my friend could just use her hotspot to complete some work things. The other thing that we found strange is that the bath towels were very small; they barely wrapped around our heads/hair. All of these things were small inconveniences and easily dealt with, but not what you pay for when booking through a vacation rental management company.

Check in was terrible and wrong address was given

We waited in the blazing heat for owner to show up bc key was not in the lock box! Turns out it wasn’t in there bc other guests were already in the house we had reserved! We received one address prior to check in date and a different address on day off! We were given door code to one address but it wasn’t the one we had reserved and then moved over to correct address after ppl already in there were made to switch with us! Floors were so dirty that our feet and socks turned black! Messaged owner a few days before check in and he never responded! He ended up using a hammer and screwdriver to get into the house and didn’t even know other guests already occupied it!

We did everything to accommodate you even moved out the guest who was supposed to be in the house. You went to the wrong address. We sent you the correct one but you ignored it. The house was cleaned before you moved in you guys came over looked at it and decided you wanted it instead of the one you booked. We even made arrangements ets to get you in early. Some times no matter what you do for a guest they will not be happy.

Was advertised with wrong house number and FILTHY!

The property was listed with the wrong house number, and once we got in, it was FILTHY. Food covered dishes all over the table, counter top, in the sink. Dirty clothes from previous tenets strewn all over, sheets were dirty, had hair and who knows what else. We contacted owner, sent photos; they apologized and promised a discount which they never sent. Although we go there at past midnight, we swept, mopped house, washed dishes, cleaned all the surfaces, washed the bedding. Owner didn't even reimburse the cleaning charges. I contacted them multiple times to received the promised discount, each time they promised to send it. Never did. I never leave bad reviews, at worst I just don't leave a review, and had the owner followed through with their promise to compensate for the trouble I would have left it at that, I get that things slip through the cracks. But keeping their word was entirely within their control.
