We had a great stay in this beautiful Memphis home. There was plenty of space, nice appliances, and everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was very convenient and close to Midtown. We really enjoyed our time in Memphis and would definitely stay here again if available.

We arrived 30 minutes after check in time and had no instructions on how to enter the house until we called in!! Nice little house, there were some cleaning issues. I looked behind the bed for power outlets ( which there was one but not usable) and it had not been cleaned in some time. And the return air vent in the kitchen was pretty grungy.
While looking for a power outlet we found this behind the bed. And the power outlet in the photo was blocked off

The Most amazing stay and Host

The host was nothing but a pleasure, extremely sweet and will answer any questions you have. She strives to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If I could give her more stars I would. The property itself was really really cute. Very nicely decorated. I’d recommend this listing to ANYONE!!! it was great for me and my toddler. She deserves the superhost title :)

I NEVER GOT TO ENJOY MY STAY

First and foremost, I never got the opportunity to fulfill my stay becayse the owner had the property double booked. She didn't even know I booked the rental via VRBO because the dates were available on the site, so I called her after NOT receiving my check in information. I messaged the "owner" before I booked to inform them that I'm from Memphis, but I don't live there. They wrote back confirming that was fine and sent the payment request so I paid. My issue is that when she was VERY RUDE once realizing she made a mistake and tried to offend me because I am from Memphis....no offense taken....However, I reported the situation to the BBB just so others can be on alert about how unprofessional she is.

Week Stay

My boyfriend and I came to stay here for a week while I was visiting him at work and unfortunately, it was not off to a great start when we first booked it and moments later were informed we could not check in the first day because it had already been booked so we had to find a hotel to stay that night instead. When we first arrived the neighborhood was slightly run down and just did not seem the safest area, at first look the inside was great! Seemed very clean had great accommodations and a great space for two people. Unfortunately as time progressed we realized that our next door neighbor with a connecting wall was very noisy... I woke up the first night at 3am to blasting music and the same continued every night with either music or tv sounds.. sometimes even the entire night until the sun was up. Both of our TVs were acting up the whole week there as well. The place seemed very clean the whole time we were there until our last night packing up I looked under the bed to make sure nothing had fallen of ours and realized there had been old rose petals, lots of them, and a Tupperware container with a very strange looking yellow gue in it, I personally just think that's a little gross. The place was decently clean and nice on the inside and worked for our stay just probably would not return.

Book it! It’s beyond worth it!

At first I was worried that the saying you get what you pay for was going to be the case. The home was marked down in price but i needed a quick turn around trip so i went for it. Cathy is the host she is quick in response, she made me feel safe and secure in working with her. The home is beautiful well decorated, super cute and perfect for me. The property is exceptional in cleanliness, stocked well, and i could tell this was an owner that cares! But i want to tell you this owner went above the call of duty for 88 a night she included a super cute paint and sip for myself and a plus one in the event that i had one. She supplied the paint, the art and nicely set up area to do the art. I was impressed! Just because she really went the extra mile, she really cares if it was clean in there, she really made sure it was stocked with coffee and everything simple i forgot to consider like dish washing soap and paper towels. Even supplies if i felt i needed to straighten up a bit. It’s the first shower I’ve looked in and didn’t find random strands of hair. As far as my location rating. Please know that the property itself is nice, clean and well kept up. Any trash and things u see are not on the property. That is the city’s responsibility. None the less. I visit Memphis monthly i will definitely book Cathy’s space again!
