Spacious home, had all the little things needed in the kitchen. Easy and straightforward checkout process. Very responsive host - answered all our questions promptly.
Our family stayed in this house and it was perfect! Plenty of room and the extra bathrooms helped when my family had to all get ready. Katie was great to work with and very quick to respond to my questions. Overall everything was great!

For your information the weird neighbor was your host. No one took a picture of your family. That is just not true.
Forest views from every window, super cute house with a 70s design vibe. I’ve read other reviews mentioning the train—the only real noise outside was a babbling creek. Exactly the R&R needed to decompress. Will be back!
This is a nice place to stay. The only conplaints are not being able to control the heat(lockbox on stats) and the train whistles all night did not get much sleep in the master but the guests in the other rooms said they did not keep them up

There are trains all over town. Being in the valley we hear them.
Thank you for staying with us.
Property convenient to Starved Rock State Park. Next to train tracks so heard trains at all hours. Kitchen well-stocked.

If you stay in the community of Ottawa IL chances are you will hear trains, helicopters, and barge horns often.
This guest used tin foil in the bottom of my oven. They left my stove a mess and did not properly put away silverware.
It was not an easy clean up.
Great hosts!! They had an issue with the downstairs A/C unit before we arrived. It couldn't be repaired before our stay, so they bought a portable unit! It worked beautifully!! The house is huge and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks Katie!!
Clean and comfortable house. We met two other couples and there was plenty of space to spend time together or divide into groups. In warmer weather the back yard and deck would have been fun to hang out in. We were wishing we had firewood to make a fire in the fire pit. Be aware if you book this house that it is set back from the street behind another house so watch for the address on the mailbox.
Overall the place is great. It sits back off a main road but it’s still quiet. We saw some wildlife from the kitchen window. We only used the master bedroom. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. I liked that they had a variety of K-cups for the Keurig. The only problem we had was the thermostat is locked. It was a little warmer than we like when we sleep. In the long run it wasn’t problem. I’d recommend this place to other people.
