This amazing vacation villa has everything a traveler can wish for a luxury holiday. Villa Sea Paradise Curacao is an exclusive villa for 8 people located directly on the coast of Jan Thiel. Villa Sea Paradise is located in Boca Gentil Resort and makes use of a private beach, beach club, bar, restaurants and watersport facilities.
The special feature of this villa is direct on the seashore with a terrace of 8 to 10 meters above the sea and a stairway giving private access to the sea. Floating on the sea terrace, you can lounge, breakfast or just relax after a sporty swim.
The villa has 4 bedrooms with air conditioning, three bathrooms, an outdoor shower, a large kitchen with all comfort amenities. The large lounge has a great view on Willemstad, Curacao and Sea Aquarium. The living room is surrounded by the Caribbean sea and the villa has a wonderful tropical garden. Parking is right infront of the villa.
The large tiled pool terrace and the large oval infinity swimming pool which makes it complete.
At night the ninfinity pool offers an abundance of colorful lights.
Fully equipped kitchen
The kitchen has a spacious marble work top and is fully equipped with modern and luxurious appliances such as:
an American refrigerator, microwave, dish washer, convection oven, coffee pad machine, toaster in short, everything one can expect from a 5 star accommodation for 8 people.
The pivoting windows open from the kitchen to the porch in one piece along its entire length and form a bar opening with a amazing sea view.
The kitchen leads into the shed containing a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
Living room
Furthermore, the villa has a large living room with a sofa set (3-1-1), coffee table, TV, wireless internet ( Free WiFi).
The living room has two ceiling fans and two large sliding doors with a staircase to the sea deck. From the sea terrace you can use the staircase into the sea for a wonderful snorkeling experience. For scuba diving activities see our Links menu for directions.

Bedrooms
All four bedrooms have double beds, 2 bedside cabinets, a spacious wardrobe and air conditioning.
The master bedroom has a private bathroom and walking closet and a beautiful view of the pool and the sea.
The second bedroom has a private bathroom. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a shower and share also the guest toilet outside near the hall.

Perfect Base Camp for Curacao Vacay

The villa is perfect to use as your home base to explore the entire island; the only drawback is the amenities and it's location on the ocean make it hard to leave the house. The house is laid out to maximize the view and have plenty of gathering places for friends or families to enjoy the outdoor without being on top of each other. The house and kitchen is well stock with necessities, we shopped at the nearby grocery and cooked dinner nightly. The location is convenient, with easy walking to grocery and restaurants. Owners were responsive and helpful. Overall, highly recommended.

Perfect Vacation Villa!

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) loved our stay here! The villa has the perfect layout with all the bedrooms off of one hallway. The home was clean and nicely furnished. The outdoor space is beautiful and there is plenty of furniture and different areas to lounge. The view is breathtaking with amazing sunsets. The location is a short walk to restaurants, a supermarket and nightlife. The villa is quiet at night so no issues sleeping. Our hosts were easy to reach. I highly recommend the Villa Sea Paradise and I’m looking forward to staying there again next year!!

Family Trip

This house MADE our vacation! Being right on the sea made every minute there pure joy and relaxing for the 8 of us, aged 13-85. Great snorkeling off the deck, beautiful infinity pool, ample deck space with comfy lounge chairs, and in the shade a hammock, a couch, the large dining table and the open kitchen meant we spent all of our time outside and together with something for everyone. And when we finally retired after the last night dip in the pool, the beds were plenty large for two and as comfy as home, the windows blacked out and each bedroom has its own A/C unit with remote control. We slept like kings! The hosts were great as well; very professional and detail oriented.

Wonderful week in Jan Thiel

Went to Curacao to explore the island but also work for the week remotely with my husband. The location was perfectly set by the Papago Hotel and its amenities, as well as Jan Thiel beach/restaurants/grocery store. Definitely recommend renting a car to get around. The house itself was wonderful - the infinity pool was our favorite part, as well as peacefully watching the sunsets from the verandah - there’s even some lounge chairs on sand so you can feel like you’re at your private beach! Note that mosquitos are abundant and aggressive, so bring or buy lots of bug spray. i definitely recommend this property for a luxurious and private getaway, with the feel of being close to the action.

The property speaks for itself. It is gorgeous and has everything you could ask for in the kitchen, bedrooms and baths. Absolutely perfect in every way. The diving right off the deck is off the charts. Turtles, octopus many, many different fish, eels, gorgeous coral. The owners are outstanding, very attentive and helpful. They gave us directions on how to access the Superbowl and enjoy the area. This is our second time at this home and hope to go back again soon. Thank you for a great 10 days. Keith

Paradise in Curacao

What an amazing property! The view did not disappoint. There were so many areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful ocean. The infinity pool was clean and was the perfect temperature. There are areas for sunning and also shade for those who want to enjoy the view but not the sun. The bed rooms were thankfully air conditioned for a comfortable sleep. The kitchen is well appointed with excellent appliances. The television and music sound system added to our experience. The location was perfect - my family walked to the resort for snorkeling, restaurants and the casino. It was about 15 min car ride to supermarkets and Willemstad. We would return in a heart beat and are so thankful for the experience.

Wow, wow, wow!

This property is magnificent. The pictures of this location do not do it justice. The combination of a large infinity pool, overlooking the ocean 20 feet away, is surreal. A huge deck invites you to lounge on and jump into a beautiful, clean reef system. As a diver, I was so impressed with the snorkeling right around this place that I didn't need to dive. Four large bedrooms, very clean and well cared for. A beautiful resort is connected to this property where you can eat, drink, play, dance, get massages and even groceries! The groceries in the resort store were unbelievably fresh, affordable and a 5 minute walk from the home. Couldn't have been better-- 8 days of pure sun and a gorgeous place to hang out in.

Amazing House Right On The Ocean

This is our 2nd stay at this house, and we will be back again next year. We love being directly on the ocean. The house is extremely comfortable, with strong AC in all the sleeping rooms. The open-air design is ideal for hanging out at the private pool. We also love going directly in the ocean from our deck via the staircase. The snorkeling in front of the house is great! The deck itself is also an amazing place to hang out in the shade during the day, and fun to watch the big fish at night with the dock light. We took our coffee on the deck every morning. Being next to the resort is ideal. You get all the amenities, but then can retreat into the complete privacy of the house. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk, and is well stocked for vacation shopping. Stay here if you can.

Beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The views were amazing, snorkeling off the dock was some of the best and exploring the nearby beaches and restaurants was a hit. The house was clean and was everything we needed. It was fabulous having a grocery store we could walk to. Pastries there were great. Neighborhood was safe. Kids could walk home from the store by themselves. We explored the north side of the island which is worth a trip. Good snorkeling and beaches but nice to come home to the pool. The pool seemed clean. Pool cleaners never showed up midweek but wasn’t a problem. Pool tiles were pulling up and cracking but owners said they were fixing that. AC worked well in the rooms. Overall a lovely stay with some amazing sunsets!

Family Vacation

Four sibling and our spouses (all over the age of 60) found the perfect spot to enjoy each others company at Villa Sea Paradise. This beautiful home is in a perfect location. There are many restaurants (ate at a different spot every night) within walking distance. There is a great grocery store 5 minutes away, as well as a car rental place where we rented two cars at a very fair price. The four bedrooms' had air conditioning and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and the large fridge had an ice maker. If we had any questions Marcos and Luti were but a phone call away. But the best thing about this home is the out door living. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. The pool company comes twice a week. There are many areas where you can relax, or hang out as a group. We were able to snorkel off the ladder three days out of nine (It's windy in November). This Villa provided us a wonderful space to have a super fun and "gezllig" family vacation.

Wonderful Week in Curacao

I spent the week before Easter along with my husband, my sister-in-law, my daughter and my two teenage granddaughters at Villa Sea Paradise in Curacao. The house is lovely, well furnished with all necessities. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living experience with much of the living space being outdoors. We have rented beach houses on the North Carolina coast as well as in the Cayman Islands over the last 15 years and I can truly say Luty and Marcus's house was amazing. The view is spectacular with all kinds of wildlife such as birds and iguanas Some of us went snorkeling right off the deck. We also went snorkeling at Tugboat and Little Knip Beach. We rented a car which was a good idea. We went into Willemstad and drove to the Northern end of the island where we saw young people jumping off the cliffs. Marcus and Luty were gracious and very accommodating. This was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful but be aware of a few things

Pros - The location is amazing. - The home itself, notably the pool area and area near the ocean, were phenomenal. The property is well appointed and includes a number of bonus features like Sonos speakers, two hammocks, and plenty of sitting areas. - The owner greeted us on arrival, gave us a tour of the property, and was available for questions/problems. Cons - There is a 15 step check-out process that took us 3 hours to complete. This includes sweeping the entire house/pool area and ensuring each utensil/appliance in each kitchen cabinet is in its appropriate spot. This wasn't a great way to spend the final hours of our trip. - The renter is responsible for electric and water usage during your stay; we were mindful of usage and it cost us $150. - During our stay both properties next door were under heavy construction Monday through Friday from 8a to 5p. Conclusion Without a doubt, this is a luxurious property at a well kept, safe resort. The property is listed at a premium price. Construction at both adjacent properties is outside the control of the owners, but advance notice of this would have been appreciated. At this price point, it's hard to justify paying extra for utilities and having to spend several hours of our vacation cleaning and other administrative tasks for the benefit of the owners.

This place is amazing!!!!!

We have vacationed with our adult children many times and used VRBO to book a home. This is BY FAR our favorite rental of over 10+ places we’ve stayed. The location is amazing. There is so much to do within walking distance…..Jan Thiel beach, papagayo resort with a gym and sauna, massages on the beach, the 5 restaurants and grocery store, a casino, a few retail shopping stores. Then when you want to escape the busy atmosphere, you stay in your own hideaway here at Villa Sea Paradise. The deck over the water is an amazing place to sit with a breeze, and the snorkeling off the deck is so beautiful. The coral and fish are EVERYWHERE. It’s like nothing we’ve seen before. The private pool is so nice and we were looking very forward to the hottub although it wasn’t working while we were there. There are so many areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather. We used the dining room table for cards and games many nights. There is just so much room and living space outdoors. The 2 hammocks are great for an afternoon nap. The air conditioning in the bedrooms meant we had very comfortable nights sleeping and the beds were perfect…not too hard and not too soft. It was obvious through our communication with Marcos that he was an upstanding and kind person. You would never have to worry about this host “doing the right thing” in any situation that might occur, because he is just an outstanding individual. Don’t hesitate to rent this place, you will NOT be sorry!

Highly Recommend This Property!

We are a group of 8 (4 couples) who stayed at Luty and Marcos's beautiful house in Curacao. The house is spectacular and is located in what we all decided was the best area on Curacao. Luty and Marcos made the entire booking and check-in procedure very easy. They made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The house was clean and well equipped. It is within walking distance of many beaches, restaurants, a dive shop, and a grocery store. We really enjoyed being able to easily walk around the beautiful neighborhood. The private beach at the house and the sea ladder was a highlight for our group. There was wonderful snorkeling right off the dock. The house had plenty of room for our group to be together or to find a quiet nook to read in. We loved our stay at Villa Sea Paradise and would recommend the house and Luty and Marcos as hosts to anyone looking at taking a trip to Curacao. We would absolutely book with them again. PS ( especially for Americans, as a frequent user of Vrbo's, especially in the States, I just wanted to add that the house is well equipped with everything you need except food. If you are stopping by at a store on your way to the house, just know that there is no left over oil, or condiments or spices. Many places in the States have these things, but there is no food left behind when you leave this house. This is not a complaint. Just letting future travelers know that you should buy only what you need and don't expect any food to be there when you arrive. Like I said, there is a little grocery store that you can walk to from the house.)

Amazing villa!

My husband and I brought our two young kids for a week at this gorgeous villa and had an amazing time! The house and the setting are even more beautiful than the pictures show. Communication with the host was always easy and we had everything we needed there. The location if the villa is perfect, with a great beach, grocery store, and multiple restaurants all only a couple minutes walk away, but you also have the privacy of your own space, right on the beautiful water. It was the perfect setup for a young family that wanted private space but also easy access to amenities nearby. we can’t wait to return.

Great outdoor living in a great spot!

Our family of 6 stayed at Villa Sea Paradise for a week. I loved all the outdoor living spaces - from the palapa on the over water deck, to couches, hammocks, dining tables and sun loungers. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to make many breakfasts and dinners at the villa. Also liked how convenient the Papagayo resort next door was - for beach, restaurants, shops and quick groceries. We were not able to utilize the ladder into the sea - it was too windy and rough, and we never got around to heating up the hot tub - but thoroughly enjoyed this villa, would recommend it to others, and would visit again!

We loved the house and the location!

We are a group of 3 couples who have rented vrbo houses on 7 different islands in the Caribbean. This house and location was the best we have rented. We enjoyed the indoor outdoor living with the ability to snorkel right off the dock on a daily basis. We enjoyed dolphins swimming by most of the days we were there as well. The sunsets were amazing! Not only was the location on the water fabulous, but the quick walk to 4 different beach bar/restaurants and the grocery store was a major bonus. In addition, 2 of us (both women) walked 4-5 miles each morning and felt perfectly safe. We found a 2.5 mile hiking trail and walked to mambo beach and back 1 day. We also walked to Fort Beekenburg which was about 4 miles round trip. All in all a great villa and great week in Curacao! Tip: The villa is not 110V electric, but we bought converters with multiple USB ports to charge phones for around $10 on amazon. Both Curacao and Aruba had electrical outages when we were there, but they only lasted about 3-5 hours so it was a minor inconvenience.

Ths villa is everything you could ask for, spacious, very well stocked, close to everything and the view is incredible. Lots of places to sun or hide in the shade with a good book. We went scuba diving right in front of the property, we used Curious 2 Dive for tanks. Extremely healthy reefs with turtles, barracuda and schools of fish everywhere. Thank you for sharing your beautiful villa with us we had the most wonderful time.

This villa is in a convenient location to everything. Clean, well equipped and one of the best I’ve stayed at. The pool is beautiful and view is unsurpassed. We enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and grocery. There’s really no need to rent a car. It’s a very short,easy walk to the beach area. You’ll need converters if coming from the US but there’s a charging station for phones in the main room. We’ve rented villas for over 30 years and this is one of the best!

I was born Curacao in the district Cher Asil, 3 km from Willemstad and we currently live in the Netherlands. I know the island by heart.
We left Curacao to study in the Netherlands. Allmost all members of our family live on Curacao.
My husband also comes from Curacao. My husband studied electrical engineering at the University of Twente. I studied Governance and Organization science at the University of Utrecht.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I were born on Curacao and went to Holland for studying. We know the area and wanted to create with our 3 grownup children valuablre memories.
This area is one of the nicest areas of Curacao, because of the watersport activities and it is so close to Willemstad. It is a very nice neighborhood.
This house means so much for use because it has a nice architecture. You live practically outdoors. Everything you need is at your fingertips.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with this house for-its architecture. Is has an open concept. You live outside. It is a nice L-shape villa and it is so close to the ocean. You can hear the effervescence of the sea and the taste of the salty water.
You are trapped and surrounded by the blue Caribbean sea when you are at home.
There is a beautiful view of Willemstad day and night.
You do not have to go anywhere to feel good and entertained. You just stay at home.
