Luxury cottage in Interlochen forest!
New, modern home in the woods across the street from Duck Lake and a 5 minute drive to Interlochen Center for the Arts! Many families of Interlochen Academy students stay here because it’s extremely close to their campus! As a bonus, walk down the road 5 minutes to Interlochen State Park or stroll through acres of private woods right behind the home! For skiing and other winter activities, Crystal Mountain is less than 30 minutes away. The home is ideal for two guests, but can accomodate two others on a sofa bed in the living room.
The Space:
Whole home water filtration system so no smelly, foul tasting water! The home has cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan for both the kitchen and living area. There is one bedroom with a queen bed which has two separate entries into both the main living area and the full bathroom. The expansive patios outside the home have sweeping views of forested land, and an inline gas bbq and inline gas firepit for your enjoyment!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access the entire living area and outdoor space, but not the attached garage (which is used for property maintenance storage).

Small, quaint neighborhood in heavily forested land bordering Duck Lake. Lots of walking trails including connections to Interlochen State Park and Interlochen Academy.
Guests can access Duck Lake by a 5 minute walk to Interlochen State Park which is at the end of the road. Interlochen State Park has a beach with designated swimming area, concession store, kayak/boat launches and a picnic shelter.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place used sheets,pillowcases & towels in the bathroom.
Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink. Return all umbrellas & fire pit cover back to their original position.
Place ALL trash INSIDE the neon green trash bin across the street. Do not leave us any food or other items to “share” with future guests.
Please close and lock all windows and doors. Lock the front door by touching the “Yale” button at the top of the outside keypad.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
