This cabin was the perfect mountain retreat. Cozy, warm, and impeccably clean, it felt like a true home away from home. The location couldn’t be better—convenient to town and outdoor activities, yet tucked away for peace and privacy. We loved every minute of our stay.

Listing states banner elk not until going up the day before were we provided with address that was beech mountain then to find out where were actually up top beech mountain. Was not happy with that situation as we were snow tubing at hawks nest and it took 25 minutes to get back down to banner elk

Disliked: Listing accuracy
It should be listed and pictured that the sleeping area for the “two child beds” are in fact not beds they are play nuggets. No blankets, no pillows (we were able to find some in the floor of a closet) and that they are at the top of a LADDER to a loft off another loft. The loft has no lights at all. So your children have a play cushion to sleep on in a loft with no light. Definitely a misleading listing that I would not book again.
The beds were very comfortable and we loved being so close to Beech mountain. Ended up getting caught in an unexpected blizzard and was told regardless of weather/road conditions we would have to pay if we needed a late check out or to stay another day. The next day wasn’t booked so it wouldnt have affected anyone else’s stay. It seemed unprofessional considering there is 1 way in and 1 way out of the location and it’s on a very steep road. The road was blocked the night before we were due to leave which is what prompted me asking what the protocol is for an emergency of that sort. Thankfully we were in a heavy truck and were able to drive on the iced roads. They only left 1 trash bag for 6 adults for 4 days so be prepared to need your own trash bags. Other than that the house was cute, clean, comfortable, and in a nice location.

Perfect mountain vacation!
We had a great time. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for our two families. We were 4 adults and three kids. The second floor with one bedroom, bathroom and front area with table, was perfect for all the kids to hang out and play. The first floor had two big bedrooms, bathroom and a cozy fireplace and nice balcony with a view. The kitchen had everything you need to make food. Would highly recommend and book again next year 😁
Everything was great about this property. Exactly as described in photos. My only con to this property was the parking. I accidentally parked in the neighbors spot. There are 2 spaces, and one is for this house. And the other is for the neighbor. Other than that. The stay was a 9/10. I would still come back
