Brand new heated pool and spa was just installed in this fabulous, elegant, gorgeous home. This beautiful upscale vacation home is located on a private gated street near the best that LA has to offer. Close to Universal Studios, Hollywood, downtown L.A., Malibu beaches, Silverlake and so much more! Near beautiful Lake Balboa Park, hiking and biking trails, boating, botanical gardens, picnic areas and playgrounds all within walking distance.

This luxury built two-story features a two-car garage with a top-of-the-line washer and dryer, a living room, dining room, large kitchen, family room (with 60-inch smart TV). The downstairs bedroom has a romantic feel and features a CA King bed. Upstairs is a large, luxurious master bedroom with a CA King bed, a queen sleeper sofa, fireplace, 60-inch smart TV and ensuite. The Jacuzzi tub (perfect for 2-4 guests), is ideal for soothing after a hard day of play.
Another large bedroom will provide ample space with a CA King bed, queen sofa sleeper and 60-inch smart TV (2-4 guests). The third bedroom has a tropical feel with a soft pillow top California king bed and a brand new, 43-inch smart TV (2 guests). The fourth and final room upstairs has 2 single beds.

The manicured backyard and lush greenery is the perfect place to relax in the luxury spa. BBQ meals on the patio enjoy California sunsets while you dine. In addition to these amenities are high speed internet and cable with HBO. Large kitchen with new and easy-to-use appliances to satisfy your culinary desires.

Spa heating is $55 per session (1-4 hours) and pool heating (spa heating is automatically included) is $189 per day each day you booked; 3-day minimum.

Great house for our family

We came to SoCal for a weekend trip. This house was more than big enough for our family of 6. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The street felt safe as it is gated. Some days were a little loud with the nearby airport. Other than that, it was great.

The house was perfect I would say its better than a hotel.Our stay was very pleasant we even had an infant with us staying so the first thing I wanted was the house to be clean and neat.The house was equipped with everything.It was well decorated and and there was a lot of room.Plenty of fresh towels for a 3 days stay.The house was in perfect location too all the attractions were only 20-30 minutes away.The host was very professional and helpful.We had a nice time during our stay.

Beautiful Urban Oasis

Our multi-family Thanksgiving stay at Archwood Manor was thoroughly enjoyable! The house is beautiful with 5 spacious bedrooms, a generous, very well-stocked kitchen, and more than adequate seating space throughout. The backyard fire pit was a favorite spot to gather after our day trips to Rancho Palos Verdes, the Getty, Ojai, and various urban hikes in and around Hollywood. Archwood Manor is well-located for any shopping you might need. Communication with Katy was immediate and efficient. I highly recommend this property for families and larger groups. If available, we plan to reserve this lovely property again on our next trip to the Los Angeles area.

Katy was an amazing host. I rented the house for my wedding and placed some family and friends there. They were all blown away at how amazing it is! The rooms are HUGE!!!!! Katy made herself avalib at all hours and is a great at responding to email and text. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T THINK TWICE ABOUT BOOKING THIS PLACE

A Charming Diamond in the rough Great for families

Overall our stay was genuinely fantastic for 9 of us it didn't feel like we were in each others way even our mom in a mobile chair was able to freely enter & exit the bathroom no problem • Communication with Katy was easy any small questions or issues we had she helped with promptly she is so sweet and definitely made the stay go smoothly •we only used the spa and it felt wonderful! •all the beds were comfortable the pull out couch in the master was tried once but the kid didn't like it •While the area seems a bit suspect Once you get inside the gate, you don't feel exposed to anything that you would feel unsafe with & in the house, you feel so secluded you forget where you are Honestly in my heart its 5 stars BUT the very few super miniscule quirks drop it to a 4.8 •the front door is...unique not as solid a door as you would hope there's a big window with a metal piece on the outside so when you close the door it shakes & makes noise also the way the window is tinted you can see in but can't see out so we had to cover the window with a blanket there was a small unnecessary chain lock that was broken but we felt secure with the main lock •the few issues I had with the spa was nothing on their end just user error on my part with the app if anything maybe have a bar to assist going in n out the spa •lastly some of the TV remotes were finicky the main downstairs Roku needed charging (micro USB fyi) The downstairs bedroom spectrum I re-coded to tv & changed the Roku batteries

As soon as we arrived at this house, we felt right at home. It feels safe in a small gated community. It was easy to get in. The house was clean and well-kept. Awesome place to stay!

This beautiful home was spacious and clean for my group of 11. It could have easily fit honestly probably up to 20 people due to all the large beds, sofa beds & extra single mattress (& even without counting the couches in the living room areas). Katy the property manager was so helpful, responding so quickly to my questions & when I needed help, and was able to accommodate early checkin and late checkout. I felt safe since the home was in a gated community, neighbors were friendly, and parking was a plus since you have the private 2-car garage, 2-driveway spots, another spot to the right of the house where the trash bins are, and street parking outside the gate. Location was great which made an easy drive/Uber to Hollywood/ Downtown, with a Costco and many food restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend this home!

Great place, Great location!

We rented this property for a mother/daughter Girl Scout trip and we could not have been more pleased with it! The layout was great and the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for a large group. Plenty of enough kitchen essentials too! The hot tub was a bonus after a long day of sightseeing . The location was central to so many things attractions including a the local Costco. Another major bonus was the number of towels! I would definitely rent this property again.

Excellent house. Wonderful host. location really worked for u!

House has 4 bedrooms and comfortably accomodated our large group of 13 seniors (ages 70+). This doesn't just mean it had enough beds, but it had enough dining space, seating areas, bathrooms, showers, etc. Did a count... even had 30+ towels!! The hostess is wonderful and communication was quick and efficient. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Why they chose this property

This property is a really beautiful home built in 2006. I loved living close to Lake Balboa not to mention all the custom features the house has to offer. It's just perfect for vacation renters to come and stay with larger groups in the Los Angeles area. L.A. tends to be expensive for lodging, and parking is often difficult. It is my hope that people can have a pleasant experience in this big city staying at Archwood Manor. The house is on a private street which is easy for parking. Plus families can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and come back to Archwood Manor and relax and make dinner in a large, gourmet kitchen or enjoy the evening breeze while BBQing out on the fully equipped, patio surrounded by greenery.
