About the host
Hosted by Ronda Jane Hillis
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, I got to Texas as fast as I could. My Texan dad, from the Fredericksburg area, married my Tennessee mom so holidays were near my current farm. I enjoy homesteading, animals, gardening, beekeeping and e-commerce. It's been a pleasure to host guests on my farm for over 10 years and meet wonderful people from all walks of life.
Why they chose this property
My roots are in the German Texans who settled around this area.
What makes this property unique
The property is peaceful and beautiful, reminiscent of times when people actually stopped to watch the sunset or stargaze after sundown. Take off your shoes, listen to the birds or the wind in the trees. Sit on the porch with a glass of wine or fave snack. Just breath. It's all good.
