Skagit River Waterfront Cottage

The Skagit river in the front yard, this house is an ideal home base from which to explore the area or just stay put. You can take a day hiking trip in majestic mountains and come 'home' to sleep in a comfy bed instead of a tent! There are several dams to visit nearby and the historic town of Concrete is fun to explore and nearby. This is also the perfect place to just relax on the deck enjoying a lovely view of the Skagit River or roast marshmallows at the fire pit next to the river. The large sandy beach at the community park is within walking distance and a must see with beautiful vistas. Bring your camera and your fishing pole! Come in the winter to see the eagles or in the summer to explore the North Cascades! The neighborhood is a mixed use community, full time residential and camping or vacation properties.

We were very pleased with having a clean, comfortable home to stay in at night, especially after long days of hiking in the Cascades. The property sits alongside the Skagit River with large trees in the back. Very beautiful and relaxing. Communication with the host was great and check-in/check-out was easy. Robin also provided brochures about the Cascades and the town of Concrete which were helpful and interesting. Very satisfied with our stay.

We had a nice weekend trip at the Mallory house. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and it worked great for our family of 4. It’s in a great location for access to all of the hiking in the area. We would recommend to others and would definitely come back!

This is a charming space to stay in. We absolutely loved it and so did our pup! It was great to come back to the cottage after a long day of hiking. The view of the river was amazing and the location is close to yummy places to eat. We would stay here again.

The nearby Community beach is easy to walk to. The road in the community are flat and great for a jog in the morning. I love to sip my coffee from the deck and watch the river.
