False advertising
First and foremost this is an apartment, not a house. You will share this place with other renters who will have access to your apartment because locks don’t work. There were roaches in the apartment. Place was dirty, had mold in bathrooms and kitchen, exposed electric wiring, leaks coming from shower, washing machine, toilet, and sinks. Bathroom doors do not lock. WiFi doesn’t work. There is no actual parking area, you will have to park on the road and this is a shady neighborhood. The smell of rotting wood in the kitchen makes it unappetizing to eat there. The place is decorated beautifully, but is a huge false advertisement. We had to leave our 2 week stay on the second day because we addressed the issues and maintenance couldn’t come out until 9-11pm on the second day with 3 suspicious looking characters entering the home with my kids asleep and banging loudly and didn’t fix anything. They then sat outside for 4 hours smoking weed and staring at the home. Made me feel like we were about to get robbed. I’m traveling with my children and felt extremely unsafe here. VRBO has not helped solve anything, they kept saying to contact the owner. The managing company doesn’t care. They didn’t fix anything and didn’t refund my money like they said they would. I had to find another rental last minute through another company. My vacation was spent worrying, double paying for housing, and endless hours on the phone with the manager and VRBO with no outcome.
