Step back in time while enjoying all the modern comforts at Spring Harbor Lodge, a beautifully restored 1930s home nestled along the channel leading to Smith Cove on Lake Winnipesaukee. One of two homes on this peaceful waterfront property, the Lodge offers timeless New England character, cozy gathering spaces, beautiful water views, and an ideal location for enjoying everything the Lakes Region has to offer—in every season.

Lovingly updated to preserve its original charm while adding thoughtful modern touches, Spring Harbor Lodge comfortably hosts up to 10 guests and is the perfect home base for summer days on the lake, colorful fall weekends, snowy winter getaways, and spring escapes.

Main Floor

The welcoming main level is designed for gathering and relaxing. It features a queen bedroom, ¾ bath, charming kitchen with direct access to the sunroom, classic dining room, deck overlooking the water, and a cozy living room.

During the warmer months, open the windows and enjoy the lake breeze. In the winter, settle into the living room around a warm, cozy fire while watching the snow fall outside—a perfect place to relax with a book, play games with family, or warm up after a day of skiing or ice fishing.

Upstairs

The second floor offers a newly remodeled full bathroom with double sinks and a shower, plus three inviting bedrooms:

Primary Bedroom: King-size bed
Second Bedroom: Queen-size bed
Third Bedroom: Queen-size bed and full-size bed

Lower Level

Head downstairs to the game room for a friendly match of pool, ping pong, or darts. It's a fun gathering space for guests of all ages and especially nice for evenings or snowy days spent at the Lodge.

Summer on Lake Winnipesaukee

Summer is all about enjoying the water. Start your morning with coffee on the back deck overlooking the channel, spend the afternoon boating or kayaking, and unwind in the evening with a glass of wine in the cozy front sunroom.

Guests enjoy access to a shared dock and designated boat slip for boats up to 25 feet. Four kayaks and bicycles are also available to share between the two homes, making it easy to explore the lake and surrounding area.

Gather around the gas fire pit in the evening as the sun sets over the channel for the perfect ending to a summer day.

The Glendale Town Docks are just two minutes away and provide easy lake access with two public launch ramps. A boat launch pass is available upon request.

Winter at the Lodge

Spring Harbor Lodge is just as special when the snow begins to fall. The lake and surrounding mountains transform into a beautiful winter landscape, making the Lodge a cozy retreat for a weekend getaway, family vacation, or ski trip.

Gunstock Mountain Resort is only about a 5-minute drive away, making it easy to spend the day skiing, snowboarding, or enjoying other winter activities before returning to the Lodge to warm up by the fire.

For guests who love being out on the lake year-round, the property's location along the channel provides convenient access to Lake Winnipesaukee for ice fishing when ice conditions safely allow. Spend the day enjoying the crisp winter air and frozen lake, then come home to a warm fire, a game of pool or ping pong downstairs, and a relaxing evening with family and friends.

Pet Policy

We welcome one small dog under 50 lbs. per reservation. Please provide your dog's breed and weight when booking. A pet fee does apply. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats or other animals.
