About the host
Hosted by Georgina Lucaric

For over 69 years Deer Valley Ranch has been a home-away-from-home for people from across the globe. With a rich history in hospitality, ministry, outdoor adventure, and horsemanship, Deer Valley Ranch is committed to being a place where people can come together and build memories that will last a lifetime. The family unit is at the heart of Deer Valley Ranch. Our hospitality is geared towards helping families and friends create memories, grow closer together, and enjoy everything the Colorado outdoors has to offer.
Why they chose this property
Our Cabin is located inside the community of Deer Valley Ranch. We allow our guests to utilize our Hot Springs fed pool and hot tubs, game room, corn hole, fire pit, and sport court with pickle ball, tennis, and basketball while staying at the cabin.
What makes this property unique
Winfield is one of the more prominent and intact ghost towns near Buena Vista, located in Clear Creek Canyon, along with 3 other fairly intact ghost towns. Being just a few miles northwest of town, it is a popular area for many to explore and learn about the mining history of the area, especially on the select days the cabins are open to the public. There are still a number of standing buildings including the local schoolhouse from the town’s heyday in the 1890’s.
