This property is situated in the southern part of Mykonos, on the sandy Elia beach. Villa Cobalt Blue, part of a peaceful complex of 8 private villas, is one of the few properties on the island that enjoys breathtaking sea views and privacy, while connecting directly to a fully organized large beach through a gentle downhill quick walk.(7 min)
The villa is in an impeccable condition, equipped with modern amenities, cable TV and complementary Wi-Fi internet. Bluetooth speakers and Sonos audio system allow for easy listening to one's favourite music. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans. It is comfortably furnished in the crisp and refreshing Cycladic style with handpicked ethnic art pieces, antiques and nautical elements. Special attention has been paid to every detail by the owner, an interior decorator herself. A large infinity pool with stylish shaded lounge and dining areas complement the relaxed bright summer setting. We love coming back from the beach to enjoy the sunset, with a glass of chilled wine in our large hot tub and then have a relaxed barbecue dinner with our friends

One of the best villas we have stayed in.

We loved our time here. The pictures don't do it justice. Lots of places to relax and read a book. Amazing location with Elia beach just doen the road. Will live in our memoiries for some time.

Marietta's Cobalt Blue Villa

This was our family's third reunion , after Nice and southern California in properties of high standard . I won't hesitate to rate the property in Mykonos as the better one. Marietta's Cobalt Blue villa is classy , spacious , well equipped and had gorgeous views . Undoubtedly , the infinity pool overlooking Elia beach , one of the best beach of Mykonos , was amazing . Highly recommend this property for a big group looking for a real gateaway .

Surpassed all expectations

After covid delays, we couldn’t have been more thrilled to arrive at this beautiful villa. The photos and description simply don’t do it justice. The layout, decor and ambience are just perfect. The communication in the long build up to the holiday as well as throughout our stay was phenomenal. Every question answered promptly and all the help and advice we could have wanted during our stay. The location was perfectly placed to explore the island and, as a group, we made memories to last a lifetime. I can’t thank Marietta and her brilliant team enough.

Absolute Perfection

I rented Cobalt Blue for two weeks this summer and invited two groups of friends, one each week. Without exception, everyone loved the house. If anything, the pictures don't do it justice. It is exceptionally well furnished in beach casual "chic" and is roomy and comfortable. The home is really two separate houses (with two separate kitchens) connected by a pool and patio. There are numerous other patios around the house and most of the bedrooms have French doors leading to a private terrace. We had large groups and at no time did we feel cramped. There was ample space to both come together and also to have private time. The house is perched high over Elia beach (a simple walk if you are willing to do the uphill climb home) and a reasonable drive to all the sights of the island. Last but not least, the house comes with a marvelous maid, Neri, who is extremely helpful. While her duties are limited to cleaning and laundry, she was exceptionally helpful in keeping the place spotless and giving us tips on shopping and transportation. She's a delight to have around the house. I cannot recommend Cobalt Blue more highly. I would give it six stars if I could.

I have to say that I was really surprised by your review, though. We tried to address all the issues you had on the first day and thought that everything was OK, not only because you thanked our housekeeper in person, but also because you never mentioned anything else for the whole duration of your stay. I was checking with her daily, to make sure that you were happy with the house and the service. You must understand my surprise, as you never complained to her (or to me), nor asked her to do something extra, despite the fact that she is a live-in, works only there all day long and could have easily taken care of whatever was troubling you. It doesn't get much better!

This is the perfect house for a big group. My husband and I were there with our two daughters (17 & 19 years old) and five of their friends. The house is built in two separate parts (with two separate kitchens) connected by a pool and patio. This means everyone has enough privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and the house very tastefully decorated. And then there’s Neri, the house maid, always there with a smile and a helpful hand. She made sure the house was always spotless clean and helped us out booking restaurants. The communication before our arrival was always smooth and quick. From the house you have a gorgeous view over Elia Beach, which is a nice sandy beach with beach beds and a good restaurant. You walk down to the beach in just a few minutes. Within 20 min. you reach Mykonos Town. The closest town Anu Mera has a supermarket and some good local restaurants. For a bigger and very nice supermarket (with an excellent liquor store) head to Flora Supermarket by the airport. For good meat: Assimomytis Stavros. I cannot recommend Cobalt Blue more highly. It doesn't get much better than this!

Very spacious! Well decorated. Great Location!

We had a large group and this property was absolutely perfect. Plenty of nooks and areas to relax alone, as well as great areas for gathering. Spectacular views and a great location. We loved it and would absolutely recommend this house. Marietta, the owner, was so lovely and helpful and always easy to reach. Thank you Marietta!!

Fantastic villa and view! Unforgettable time! Highly Recommend!

As soon as we entered the villa and took in the incredible view we knew that we were going to have an unforgettable time! Interior design and decoration was wonderful. The villa transmitted a sense of simplicity, warmth and sophistication which is very hard to achieve. The home exuded the sunshine and beautiful azure sea and was perfect to ease us into the Mykonos rhythm of life. We loved beach hopping, from the peaceful beaches of Agios Sostis to the ultra-chic vibe of Scorpios. Will cherish many memories from the trip: waking up each morning to the beautiful Mykonos sunshine and the gorgeous view of Elia beach, sunsets in town, lunch on the beach, swaying to the music at Scorpios or Alemagou. The location is perfect for visiting different beaches by day and exploring the town at night. Amazingly, the gorgeous view seemed to get more beautiful each day. We established a tradition of a dip in the infinity pool at the end of the afternoon, with a glass of wine. Perfect way to ease into the evening. It was such a relaxing and fun time - just what the doctor ordered after crazy busy year! The caretakers were very kind and helpful, and they keep the place in perfect shape. We look forward to coming back!

A wonderful family vacation at an amazing villa

Our family experience in Villa Cobalt Blue was in one word superb. The property is situated over Elia (2 minutes away) which is a very wide, sandy beach with an excellent restaurant for lunches and water sports (perfect for our family!) but also relatively close to the main Mykonos town (20min car) if we wanted some more action as well as to a variety of other exceptional beaches: Kalo Livadi, Lia, Kalafatis etc so plenty of choice to ensure variety. The views from the villa are incredible - what an experience to be in the pool cooling down and looking over Elia or with a drink in the evening in one of the many terraces relaxing and taking in the surroundings. There is an abundance of rooms and 'common' spaces in the property to ensure that even with a large group there is possibility to be as private as needed and/or enjoy a big party if thats what you prefer. The decor is contemporary with lots of white and blue, in harmony with the environment, with great quality of finishings and with all comforts possible but at the same time the property is furnished in a way that it allows you to relax and enjoy the experience - a real 'feeling at home' experience. Last but not least I need to mention the service - the lady that was around helping us, cleaning etc was so incredibly nice and helpful! Always smiley, always ready to answer any question and help us with anything we might need.... It was an amazing week and for sure we will be returning! Thank you!!

Our family is Greek, but with many international connections and friends. Our 3 children live currently abroad. We love spending time with our friends, so we have regularly guests and host dinners. We love art and beautiful things, so we always try to find exceptional and unique items to decorate our homes. As an interior designer myself, I have tried to create a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, in a modern Greek Style.

Why they chose this property

Our villa is located directly above Elia beach, with direct access to it via a private road. It is located uphill (5'-10' min walk, 2' min drive) which is perfect, because it has spectacular views of the beach and the sea, without ever feel crowded or bothered by the tourists who visit the area. The beach has an excellent taverna. More upscale restaurants, as well as spa amenities, gym, ATM etc, are located in the hotels (The Myconian Collection Hotels in Elia, www.myconiancollection.gr ) right next to our property and one can use them easily with a small fee. Elia has very good access, not only to Mykonos town (20' drive), but also to the village of Ano Mera (5' drive), where there are Grocery stores, Bakery stores, a Gas Station, ATMs, Tavernas and other restaurants, Barber and Hair salons, Nail salons etc. Lately, we enjoy the delivery of both Mediterranean cuisine and Greek traditional food, as well as sushi and fresh fish (prepared or grilled). The south part of Mykonos, has the best beaches of the island, so more options are easily available in a 10' min drive (Kalo Livadi beach, Kalafatis beach, Agia Anna beach, Lia beach, Ftelia beach) with all the restaurants and clubs they have to offer. Elia beach is maybe the largest and most spectacular in Mykonos. Therefore people have space and can always get a beach bed. On the other hand there are no clubs installed there, so it never too loud and gets very quiet, after the sunset.

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because of it's breathtaking views and very close foot access to an amazing beach, right below it. This is quite unusual, as there are almost no private beaches in Mykonos. The villa is spacious and comfortable, with many different terraces to choose from, so suitable for a larger group, where both common and private areas are needed. Because of it's unique location, all areas of the villa, both interior and exterior ones, enjoy the same spectacular setting.
