About this property

Claiborne Suite in Old Mandeville

The Claiborne suite in old Mandeville is located one block off of Lake Pontchartrain and two blocks from Girod Street filled with restaurants and shopping. It is located behind our Antebellum historic home built in 1856. We offer two queen size beds and the room comes with a full bathroom with tub, shower, refrigerator, microwave and kitchen table. Off street parking is included.

The Claiborne Suite has a private patio with outside couch, chairs and coffee table, perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and family.

*** Pet friendly. the Claiborne Suite has plenty of area to walk your pets so there's no need to leave your pups at home. Our welcome package will also include a listing for a local dog walker and sitter if needed.

Our neighborhood is quiet and safe and perfect for walks on the lakefront and enjoying the beauty of Old Mandeville.

We enjoyed our weekend stay with our 2 dogs at the Claiborne Suite. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The lakefront as well as several restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We will definitely stay there again.

Had a really nice stay, location was perfect. We love Old Mandeville and really like how quiet and tucked away this property is. Very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Great AC, which is crucial for LA! The beds were softer than we prefer, but very comfortable nonetheless. Would definitely stay here again;)

Great little getaway close to the lakefront

My family of 4 stayed here for a few nights - it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom isn't very private (louvered door) so be comfortable with your party. Be aware there are dogs there- for us, it was great.

Cozy and Quaint

We had a wonderful stay at this cute, cozy and quaint suite. The owners were welcoming, great to work with and we enjoyed getting to meet them. They were what southern hospitality is all about. The town was adorable and we really enjoyed being able to walk to dinner as well as walk around the lake in the evening and watch the sunset. Definitely would love to visit again!

Our time with you was a very pleasant experience. The location was great for us, as our son and family are only 10 minutes away. The rooms were clean and ready for guests.
