We stayed here this past weekend. I’ll start with the positives then the negatives that caused my star rating. The place was quiet and roomy so that we were not on top of one another. We enjoyed the pool table & the coffee maker. The backyard was great very large for the Easter egg hunt we had for our kids Sunday.
When we arrived Friday night we had an issue with lighting in one bedroom as well as the WiFi. As we continued thru the home we found that it had not been cleaned properly if cleaned at all.
The host replied quickly but wasn’t able to do anything that night due to it being 8 or so by the time I messaged I understood so We spent the rest of our night cleaning. We Re washed sheet and blankets (candy wrappers were made up into the king bed) we assumed it was not clean based upon the rest of the home. There was food, liquor bottles, trash, & dishes throughout the house. The fridge was so awful we couldn’t even open it without the entire place smelling of liquor & rotten food.
Saturday they did send the maid and we asked her to clean the fridge since everything else had been done. We also had an electrical issue that caused no power in one bedroom and no WiFi until Saturday night.
The cleaning fee was very steep for myself and family to have had to do the cleaning ourselves.
But if we’d of arrived to a home that had been cleaned properly or even at all I would say the price would’ve been reasonable and that would’ve added to my positives.
