Top floor condo overlooking the ocean in Princeville - amazing!!! Kitchen has all necessary amenities, the condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again - highly recommended.

Excellent stay-amazing views

My family of four enjoyed our stay at Alii Kai I. Everything in the description matched what we experienced. Coffee on the lanai watching the whales was unforgettable. I had a few questions and the host got back to me in a timely manner. We can't wait to come back.

Princeville gem

Amazing views from the Lanai and both the bedrooms. The house is updated with modern appliances and well decorated. This condo was one of the highlights of our trip.

Nice condo located right on the beach

Property was clean and well maintained. Had a minor issue finding the property due to numbering confusion but quick phone call and got it resolved (unit is in building 7). Nice view and Queens batch hike is easy hike away. Minutes away from restaurants and Saturday farmers' market with lot of local fruits and vegetables. We had a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a comfortable, very clean stay. Rested well. Explored a variety of restaurants and sights near and far. Walked the neighborhood. Beautiful area. Well kept resort. Easy parking. Our few concerns communicated to manager were quickly addressed.

Beautiful Setting

Cannot beat the view from balcony. Condo as described, great communication. Only negative at all is lack of AC that is needed in summer as condo can get a little stuffy. Highly recommend.

The description does not lie. There are ocean views from every bedroom and living room. Kitchen is nicely furnished. Has all the beach stuff you need. 10 minutes from Hanalie. You can hear the wave crash below you.

Fantastic Views & Condo!

This condo is extremely well appointed! Very very nicely updated unit! Washer and dryer in the unit, amazing ocean views, comfortable furniture, updated kitchen and bath. Such a lovely find! the nicest condo we've ever stayed in on Kauai. So conveniently located to Princeville, Hanalei, The Kalalau Trail, etc. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Gina!

Great Condo in Paradise!

This condo has great ocean views, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This condo could accommodate up to 6 people, as it has a sofa bed in the living room. This condo has had a recent update throughout. Awesome kitchen with hard surface countertops. As it was only my wife and I, we only slept in one bed that was very comfortable. The condo came stocked with beach chairs, snorkel gear as well. This condo is a definite 5* in our opinion!

Waves crashing below

Close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing below the sea cliffs. Clean and comfortable property. Stocked with beach gear. Smooth booking and check-in process. Great ocean view. Convenient Princeville location. Needs a new TV (issues with brightness). Shower in master is a bit tight. But overall we had a wonderful stay. We would book again in the future.

Pure relaxation!

My husband and I went with our adult daughter in July. This condo met and exceeded all of our expectations. Perfect quiet location for us, loved the top, end unit location, INCREDIBLE view, and everything we needed. Full beautiful kitchen. Lovely lanai where I had my coffee with a book every morning. Views throughout condo. Beach towels, cooler, snorkel equipment, chairs included. Quiet locked pool that we usually had to ourselves. Restaurants and grocery store with ready to eat food close by. Would LOVE to return.

Great North Shore Stay

The condo is as pictured, fully equipped kitchen, nice quality furnishings, and a direct ocean view from the lanai. We spotted whales breaching and blowing, which was a thrill! The only bummer was the modem died on the second day of our week long stay. Spectrum couldn’t come until 4 days later to replace it. 100 % polyester sheets were a bit disappointing in an otherwise very classy condo.

Nice apartment in quiet neighborhood

We really enjoyed this apartment as our base to explore the amazingly beautiful north of kaua'i! Perfect location for Queen's Bath and Turtle Cave, short distance to Hanalei and great beaches. Well equipped with really great beach gear and kitchen, very clean and comfy. Some of the lights did not work so well (e.g. flickering bed side lamp in bedroom) and one or two more dish washer tabs would have been good as well.Other than that all was fine! Be aware that there are a lot of geese and roosters around the place, they add charm but they, are also very loud in the very early morning ;-) overall we really loved our stay, and would totally book again! Mahalo for letting us stay!

Trying to be helpful

Good property. Not as new or refurbished as others in area/building. Clean except for front stairs; brown dirt caked on stairway, needs cleaning at least for safety. Only TV is dying. Black mark within screen at bottom helps to darken entire screen. No TVs in bedrooms which some people like to have. Lots of beach toys, equipment, although we did not use.

The Smith’s have a lovely Condo. Ocean view and mountains too. Well equipped, we lacked for nothing. Just what we needed peace and ocean vibes. Could not have asked for a nicer place to relax and enjoy Kauai!

Pros & Cons

I've been waiting for a while to send in my review of this property. First and foremost, when we arrived, the property was spotless! Pros: The View!!!! Super clean, location of property, soft cotton sheets, easy to contact the host and care taker, Brittney. Cons: The beach towels are very old and need to be replace along with the broken snorkel gear. The noise from the ceiling fans, standing fans, and window fan were a little too loud. We couldn't hear the ocean. The dryer takes too long to dry clothes, it took about 3 hours to dry 3 beach towels. The kitchen could use a salad spinner and a new grill set or just tongs to use for the BBQ. All easy fixes. Shout out to Brittney, the caretaker! Thank you again for all your help! Overall, we had a great trip and loved all the sunrises, sunsets, birdsongs, and that beautiful ocean view from the balcony and bedrooms.

Great location & Great Unit

This spot is amazing and in the perfect location in Princeville (Ali’i Kai). The incredible ocean views and birds swooping by the 2nd floor are spectacular (mind you, there are some stairs). And the sounds of the crashing waves is absolute paradise. This clean end-unit has everything you need, just bring some food & drinks and you’re ready to enjoy your vacation. There is No Hot Tub, which was clearly advertised on VRBO, so that’s not cool, but that’s the worst of it. The Primary Suite ceiling fan is very loud, but there was another standing fan to replace it and the Queen size bed is not great (bouncy and extremely squeaky). Additionally, we did have to figure out how to clean out the tricky lint trap on the dryer because our clothes came out smelly and simply wouldn’t dry (looked like it had never been cleaned out before). Overall, pretty minor details for such a cool spot (just don’t like feeling like we were mislead in VRBO ad and when I texted the property manager about it she ghosted me).

Beautiful Ocean View

This is a wonderful property that gives an awesome view to the north coast and a short drive to Hanalei. Keep in mind if you are wanting to see sunrises and sunsets this is the wrong side of Kauai for you. The grounds were well maintained and this unit is the closest unit swimming pool
