We hosted 30 women from our church for a weekend retreat! Eddie was really responsive, great to work with! We used most of the facilities and loved them - hot tubs, indoor pool, game room, large kitchen, etc. the space is incredible! The only drawback was the curtain for a door for one of the rooms downstairs. Great place! Hope to return one day!

Family Fun in the Smokies

This lodge could not have been more perfect for our family !!! With the high temps in July it was wonderful having the cool inside space to spread out, especially for the kids to have the pool, arcade games and the chapel for the teenagers to dance and sing karaoke and play board games !!!! Thank you, Eddie, for all of your help !!!! Would highly recommend !!!!!

Great place for a wedding

Was a great place for my wedding of about 48 guests and we invited 31 guests to stay the weekend with us. So much to do to keep people of all ages entertained. The kareoke machine was very user friendly and good quality. And we made use of the pool, hot tubs, arcade, and movie theater. The host Eddie was very accommodating. I loved the very large fridge and freezer and The ice and water machine, and having the tables and chairs at the venue. It made for a comfortable, laid back but beautiful reception and ceremony. And I feel like there were a handful of different ways you could have the wedding activities set up so you can personalize it to an extent.Glad we went with the Moose Hollow Lodge!

Great place for large family

Our family of 27 (+4 for 2 days) had a wonderful family Thanksgiving vacation at Moose Hollow Lodge. There was plenty of space to spread out, things for all ages to do, and fantastic views. The kitchen is very well equipped for lots of cooking and eating (3 ovens!) and great indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering. Eddie was so easy to communicate with and responded to our questions and needs very quickly. We all talked about wanting to return again in the future. Thank you Eddie.

Perfect large family gathering

This property was exactly how it was listed. This Beautiful large cabin fit my group of 50 just comfortably. The chapel was large to fit 4 tables for food and 8 tables for seating. Enough chairs for everyone to enjoy our surprise birthday party. The chapel was decorated with exactly everything I had imagined. The indoor swimming pool was heated perfectly to temp for the cold weather outside. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the ice machine and coffee maker! If you have a large event to plan, this is the place to be.

Our experience at the Moose Hollow Lodge was absolutely perfect. The property is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The commercial style refrigerator and water/ice dispenser were genius additions. The two hot tubs, indoor heated pool, and movie theater ensured that everyone had something to do at all times. We stayed at Moose Hollow Lodge for our wedding weekend, and overall it was a beautiful and memorable place to celebrate. The mountain views are stunning, the lodge is spacious, and it felt private and peaceful. The pool was a hit, the movie theater was used every night, and the pool table and air hockey were great bonuses. The string lights over the driveway made for a magical outdoor wedding dinner setup.However, there were a few inconveniences. The refrigerator door wouldn’t stay shut because the seal seemed worn out, which made it hard to keep food cold and caused some items to spoil. Several fridge shelves were also missing. Most arcade games did not work; only the Pac-Man machine functioned consistently. Parking was tight for our group and required frequent reshuffling of cars.We were also surprised that there is no standalone bathroom on the main floor near the kitchen, so guests had to use bathrooms inside occupied bedrooms, which was a little uncomfortable once belongings were unpacked. One of the basement bedrooms only had a curtain instead of a door, which made privacy an issue for the guests staying there.The lodge felt secluded overall, though nearby neighbors played loud music on the day of our ceremony. They were very understanding and turned it down when we spoke with them.Even with these issues, we loved our stay. The location is gorgeous, many amenities were great - With a few maintenance improvements, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Family Vacation

We chose this cabin because of the large number of people it would sleep. We stayed for a family vacation. It was a great location for myself, my 3 sisters, spouses, children and grandchildren to spend some quality time together. The cabin was clean, the kids enjoyed the game room and theater. The pool and hot tubs were enjoyed by the teens late at night. Plenty of room. Great kitchen that we cooked in daily. We would return again.

PERFECT RETREAT

We have used this location for our annual women's retreat for 3 consecutive years and it is by far the most amazing place we've used. It is convenient to our home location, making it a short drive for all of women. There are ample activities available either onsite or in town. We love the setting, the chapel area and the ample space. Our women have commented time and again how much they enjoy this beautiful place. The manager is wonderful to work with as well.

Our group stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the accommodations!! Very clean, easy access to town, accurately depicted in photos, delightful amenities. The owner went above and beyond for us in ways too many to list!! If you have a large group, DON'T hesitate to rent. We arrived by motorcoach and the driver was ambivalent about driveway incline, but even that went well!! A definite recommendation!!

Great tradition!

We just returned from our third college retreat at Moose Hollow Lodge and could not ask for a better experience. The location is convenient yet secluded and serene. The lodge itself is comfortable and provides so much for entertainment, that several of our group never ventured out of the cabin- who needs go carts when you have Ms. Pacman! Not only was the lodge wonderful, but the staff was great and understanding. I recommend Moose Hollow to groups and will definitely be returning next winter.

Fun family vacation

Our family of 27 (adults, teens and children) enjoyed a week at the lodge. The spaces were well used from the game rooms with air hockey, pool table, video games and theater in the basement to poker table upstairs in the loft. We enjoyed the deck in the evenings and hot tubs every day. The kids enjoyed hours in the pool and the chapel provided space for “shows”, karaoke, etc. The location was not too far from the attractions and national park where we hiked and played in the river. A fun family reunion!

The Perfect Place for a Mountain Wedding

This venue was so perfect for my wedding, my family wanted to come back and stay for a family reunion. I absolutely loved the views and the movie theater and game room were the icing on the cake. Why they chose this property

Some time ago I noticed a need for large capacity high end luxury accommodations around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and decided to build Moose Hollow Lodge to fulfill this need. Since this time families all over the United States and Canada have been coming for reunions, churches have been enjoying the large retreat accommodations, corporations have meetings, and many couples have had wonderful catered weddings at the lodge.

When you vacation with large groups you want the luxury of space! Moose Hollow is the only log in all the Smoky Mountains that provides and inclusive indoor heated pool as well as a chapel & conference center that includes 2100 karaoke songs and wireless mic's for giving presentations.
