Welcome to Ocean Lakes Coastal Hideaway! We are very excited to offer our home to you for short term accommodations. Our hope is for you to enjoy relaxing, fun times making wonderful memories with your families. Our house is located in what’s considered the premier section of Ocean Lakes. The summer of 2024 was our first year to offer as a rental. We have been very successful in renting and have had very considerate families who have taken care of our home. Noted: This house does not allow pets of any kind due to allergies of other guests and family members. The house is in a quiet cul de sac and is within walking distance to the ocean. It’s convenient to the water park, lazy river, indoor swimming pool, putt-putt, Sandy Harbor Family Fun Center, playground, basketball goals, and other outdoor entertainment. Pools are not allowed at any site location but all guest of Ocean Lakes have access to the pools and waterpark as part of the amenities. We do not provide a golf cart with our rental but Ocean Lakes has plenty of golf cart rentals they provide for a daily/weekly fee. Golf carts are the popular and most convenient ways to travel around the park. There is plenty of parking available around the beach entrances and newly added additional parking near the water park. Bring your fishing rods as our house is on a lake or there are several lakes around the park for fishing. (It is catch & release, OL rules) PLEASE enjoy seeing but don’t feed the fowl/wildlife. There are many reasons to vacation at Ocean Lakes as they have been award winning for several years in a row. We just hope you choose our home to make it more rewarding and enjoyable. Thank you!

This house is amazing! Very spacious! The back porch area is wonderful! Everything you need is here!!! The owner was very helpful and accommodating with a small issue we had! Great communication! We hope to stay here next year!!
We had a wonderful stay! Very clean beautiful home. Great location on a quite street. Loved the huge deck right on the lake! Was great for the kids to fish! Would highly recomment the propery and my family and i would love to stay again!
The property was as good as advertized. I read a lot of reviews on different things and they are not all accurate but this one lived up to our expectations. The property is located in a quiet dead-end cul-de-sac, with the back side facing a beautiful little pond that allows fishing. The house was very clean, smelled good, and was well stocked wth necessary items. Everything worked, including appliances, tvs (inside and out), awning, and grill. Jack was very responsive to questions and suggestions. We highly recommend this property for your stay in OL.
We have stayed at several houses in Ocean Lakes over the years. This home is our favorite! The home was clean. Really liked feeling secluded in the cul de sac but still being close to everything. Jack was amazing with keeping us informed and allowing early check in.
My family and I stayed here for the first time this week and it was wonderful! It was so clean and the view was beautiful and so peaceful. Communication between Mr Phillips, the owner, and myself was very specific and all questions answered quickly, very pleasant to communicate with. We will definitely be staying here again VERY SOON!!
This home was stunning and very clean. We loved the location on the pond and not being on a busy street. The owner was great at communication and his wife even reached out with an offer she saw on Facebook for family pictures if we wanted them. We look forward to staying at this home again!

Jack was really quick with his responses. He let us know that we could check in early. All electronics had instructions. The house was clean and welcoming. It was a great place for my son who is allergic to multiple foods and animal dander. Being away from the main streets was nice and peaceful. It was an easy check in and check out. We will most definitely stay there again.
This home is breathtaking from the moment you enter the front door. Very open and easy flowing. Up to date appliances, modern and updated bathrooms and bedrooms. Wonderful to have laundry on site. The back deck was the favorite hangout. We were able to grill out, fish off the deck and rock under the porch. Located on a private, quiet street so kids could play in street in front of home on bikes and scooters. 10 out of 10 would recommend this property to others.
We typically experience several negatives with the positives when renting, but this house is all positives, down to handwritten instructions for the remotes. Great location, wonderful pond view with wildlife throughout the day, powerful water pressure, coffee maker options include k-cups, comfortable bed/pillows/bedding, awesome living room furniture with zero gravity recliners, Blackstone grill, extendable awning for deck, easy keyless entry, beds were made upon arrival, starter pack of paper products was very much appreciated, great communication with owner. If I had to say one negative thing it would be that the location can only support 2 vehicles, but we made it work. If you get a chance to rent this house, jump on it!
The property upon arrival was immaculate. We received a text from the property owner early on the day of check-in stating the property was ready early! Which was great. The property is located on a cul-de-sac street, which allowed the kids to play without worrying about traffic. The back deck has rocking chairs and a TV that overlooks a nice pond. We had a hiccup with the keypad on the door batteries going dead, during our stay. The property owner had the issue resolved within 10 minutes (11 o’clock at night). I would highly recommend this property! My family and I will definitely be back.
Our family of 5 stayed in this beautiful home over this Easter holiday and it was a wonderful experience. Jack, the owner, was very responsive, helpful and so kind from the moment we booked our trip until the day we checked out. The house was immaculately clean, we had everything we needed, the kitchen was stocked with great cooking utensils, pots and pans and we loved cooking out on the Blackstone grill. The back porch overlooking the lake was our favorite part and my husband and girls caught several fish. The lounge chairs and rockers were a hit and we had plenty of room for us all. We loved where the house was located in OL because it was peaceful and quiet with no busy street traffic. The neighbors were all so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay again and will highly recommend this wonderful rental. My family has been coming to OL for over 40 years and this was one of our favorite stays! Thank you Jack!
We bought this home after retirement to enjoy with our family. In 2024 we decided to share our home to other families to offer them an opportunity to “make memories” with their friends and families as well. Our home is not a party house so anyone looking to party is encouraged to look somewhere else. We have neighbors who live here full time and we don’t want to disrupt them and request our guests respect them while visiting and obeying our rules. We love hearing from our guests about how much they enjoyed their stay and felt comfortable with our accommodation. That’s why we like being a host.

We chose Ocean Lake for our family because the park offers so many amenities as well as access to one of South Carolina’s most beautiful beaches. Nothing like vacationing at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach. There’s so much to do for all ages. We decided in 2024 to offer our home to other families to enjoy making memories with their families.
What makes this property unique
Coastal Hideaway sits in a cul de sac and is in a quieter section of the park at Ocean Lakes. It is spacious inside and outside so as an accommodation of eight, you don’t feel crowded. There’s a large deck for lounging, tables for eating with a children’s table as well, a covered back porch with rockers and 43” tv. We also provide a blackstone grill if you prefer to stay in the park and eat there.
