The cottage is located on a hillside. There are approximately 12 steps from the driveway to the sidewalk that leads to the front door. To access the patio that overlooks the river there are an additional 10 steps. And, then, another 10 or so steps to the dock. Please note there is a laundromat nearby in Edgerton but a washer / dryer is NOT at the cottage.

The hottest days of the summer

We spent 3 nights at Cathy and Curt’s newly renovated cottage on the river in Edgerton, a 25 minute drive to Madison. The accommodations and view of the river were great. We didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoor activities due to the unusual temperatures and humidity outside, but they had everything available you would want. Happy to report the central AC works wonderfully! Thank you for hosting us.

Great Potential

The hosts are wonderful and very easy to work with! Checked in on us and addressed questions we had very promptly, were easy to navigate conversations and work with. Great hosts!! The interior of the house is wonderful and quaint, exactly what we wanted for our weekend getaway with friends! Kitchen is great, large dining table to sit at together, and spacious couch for everyone to lounge on. Bathroom is beautiful and even though the bedrooms are small, it worked well for us. The exterior has potential but needs some cleaning and upkeep. Specifics have been shared with owner so hopefully future visitors have a great experience!
