I live in the northern hills and was looking for a good stay-cation for us. Hill City is a great central location for everything you want to see, and the hosts and guests are very personable and friendly. The common area firepit and grills was a nice place to meet the other guests and socialize. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay in Black Hills. This property was close to downtown for eating and shopping. Used this location for our “home base” while visiting multiple national parks including Badlands, Devil’s Tower, Mt Rushmore. Came for the buffalo roundup and so much more.

The property is in a quiet residential neighborhood. We never heard any human neighbors, but did encounter deer every morning. It was perfect for two country visitors who wanted a quiet stay.
Excellent location when visiting Mount Rushmore and surrounding area. Walking distance to downtown Hill City for restaurants and shopping. Tracy Park was a great place fo kids to play. Seen deer often in the area. Would stay again.
Overall, I would rate this cabin 3/10, mainly because the pictures posted are deceiving. We thought we were getting the cabins pictured, instead we were in a single wide trailer home that is split in 3 different small cabins. Owner & his aunt were both very nice though
Could have been cleaner. Sliding entry door was very dirty and smudged. This gave us a poor first impression. Bathroom was clean-no issue with this room what so ever.
