Marshmallow Acres Lodging We have 3 separate lodges for BASEBALL FAMILIES

Bear Lodge and Deer Run Lodge along with Marshmallow Lodge available to book for families that want to be close together but also enjoy privacy. Please see Bear Lodge and Deer Run on their own VRBO listing.
Marshmallow Lodge:
13 acres with a pond Horses & Chickens on property . A porch on each level ! A great spot to have coffee in the morning or a quiet cocktail in the evening. Plenty of space for small family .reunions and BBQs. Down by the pond a full fire pit for roasting s'mores and telling ghost stories. Watch the Deer and natural wildlife right from any window in the house. Each floor has it's own bedroom and bathroom making it spacious and private for a large family. 2 Full size Kitchens allows for cooking for a large group of friends and family.Extra Large commercial Washer and Dryer. Just a stones throw away from The the Baseball Hall of Fame and many historic museums. Also the world famous Ommigang. Brewery. And The Fly Creek Cider Mill. Plenty of fun things to do for all ages and interests !
ENTIRE PROPERTY available for Weddings,(see our other properties Bear Lodge & Deer Run)Property can accommodate 26 couples ! 3 separate houses. Great for Family Reunions. & enough space for Team housing.
PLEASE NO TEAM parties without prior permission. Unless you rent all 3 houses.Please have non paying guests off property by 10. With baseball season other teams might have early games.
Remind your guests to avoid parking on lawns.

We traveled in as a family of 5 for our youngest son's Dreams Park baseball experience. This house had more than enough space, was very clean, and had everything we needed. The best part to me was it was only 6 min from the fields. Great experience overall!

Cozy stay

We loved our time at Marshmallow lodge. It was perfectly located to dreams park and provided a comfortable stay for our family. The property was clean and the view was gorgeous.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

It's a beautiful location and the big cabin is great. Plenty of room. Very close to Dreams Park. There are a lot of steps in the home though so definitely something to note for anyone that struggles with getting around.

Perfect Spot and Great People

We stayed for a tournament week. Property is beautiful and a calm retreat from the ballpark (which is 4 mins away). Host is very responsive and helpful, as is the couple that lives on the property. Extremely welcoming and friendly but also respectful of your privacy. We definitely would stay again.

Beautiful property

The lodge is perfect for multiple family groups. We had 3 family groups in our party and each had a private floor, bed and bath. It is a beautiful lodge with space to spread out and gather together. Our pooch enjoyed his vacation also - lots of outdoor space to explore. It was a great relaxing time - 10 minute drive to Cooperstown. We would book again.

Upstate Hiking

My wife and I and our two kids (19 and 22) stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The house is lovely--3 bedrooms and an extra bed, 3 baths. The hosts were great! Son lives on the property and was very helpful in recommending hikes nearby. We would love to go back!

Fantastic stay!We stayed at Marshmallow acres while our son played a week at Dreams Park! The proximity to the park is great! 5 min drive! Downtown Cooperstown is about 10. Super convenient to both! House had everything we needed! Very quiet and peaceful setting! Enjoyed getting up in the mornings and having coffee on the porch while enjoying the view of front yard and pond!Great place to stay for a DreamsPark Family!! Highly recommend

Best place for Dreamspark

This house was amazing! It had everything we could ever want. Super clean amd spacious. The location can’t be beat! Literally 5 minutes to dreamspark. You can hear the cheering of the games from the front porch. Would definitely highly recommend

Convenient location and beautiful property

We loved Marshmallow Acres! It is so close to Cooperstown Dreams Park (5 minute drive), so it was really easy to go back to the house for lunch between games, etc. The property is gorgeous. My kids loved playing in the huge yard. They built forts and went fishing in the pond. They loved seeing the horses too. The house was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend! We hope to be back in 3 years when our next boy is 12 :)

Undermarketed

This is a beautiful and charming farm house remarkably convenient to Dreams Park and a pleasant 20 minute drive to AllStar Village. Derek and Sarah the caretakers live in a separate building on the 15 acre property and are extremely friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed at “fanncy” houses on the lake but Marshmallow was in many ways more enjoyable, peaceful, relaxing and definitely more convenient if your in town for the baseball tournament. Our two dogs did not want to leave. They had so much fun on the trails and large lawn and nearby pond. Definitely two thumbs up and I would not hesitate recommending this property to anyone.

Will definitely stay again!

This was the perfect property and experience during our visit to Cooperstown for our sons baseball tourney. The owner was SUPER quick to respond and everything you need is there! Lots of towels, linens, everything you need in the kitchen including paper towels and toilet paper! The animals on the property were also enjoyable :) A view of the horse pasture from every window and chickens in the coop were a favorite of my two and eight year old. A wonderful retreat, super close to the Dreams Park, that’s gave my other two sons something to look forward to. Groundskeeper, Derik, was most helpful and offered to help us with starting grill, offered to start a fire pit fire for us and even offered tours of the barn and coop. He let us know about the walking trails on the property and taught my very intrigued boys about newts and other types of wildlife we don’t typically see in Georgia. Thanks, again, Marshmallow Heaven!!!! 10/10 recommend.

Place was a perfect getaway for my son’s baseball tournament!

Staff was amazing, house was even better! Would highly recommend this place to any family looking, so many fun things for the kids to do as well as the adults! All around best experience have had yet with renting on vrbo. Thanks guys for the great experience and memories we made there!

Fantastic property

The property was awesome. We were In town for a baseball tourney and I brought my wife, kids and parents. The home was super spacious, private and the location superb for our events. Will look to stay here again. The owners and staff helped fix and maintain anything we needed right away (nothing big) appreciate you allowing us in your home and look forward to the next visit. :-)
