Very nice place to stay, we would stay here again. Has everything you need to keep your kids entertained. Pirate ship playground, pool, and it’s super close to Whitehead Beach. Definitely going to save this location for future use.

From the start the booking process was seamless and uneventful. The stay was amazingly accommodating, felt like home...except a pool outside our front door...and an ocean in our backyard. Ya we loved it!!!

It was very clean, Everything you could think of to cook with, utensils, pots and pans, air fryer. Kids loved the added pac man arcade game and loved the bunk beds! The pool was perfect for families and it is only a 5 minutes walk or so to the beach. Would definitely come back and stay again.

It had absolutely everything we needed and was such a perfect space to relax and cook after all the fun in the sun. The spray hose at the front of the unit was genius and allowed us to spray off sand from our kiddos and items before heading inside. As for sleeping, king bed was super comfy and my son even enjoyed sleeping on the pull-out couch bed. The location was perfect with just a few steps across to the pirate ship playground/pool and a short walk with our wagon down to the beach. We all voted to definitely come back and stay here again!

Was visiting for a vow renewal ceremony and our friends and family rented cottages in the samecomplex. It was nice that they had multiple options to choose from to accommodate their family size. The cottages are spacious and bright, very comfortable. Have to remember to bring your own coffee, etc since there is nothing in the unit when you arrive. Would highly recommend! We rented golf carts from Salty Dolphin down the street. Beach is walking distance and lots of restaurant options nearby.

Ruined my vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Padre escapes ruined my family’s vacation. Ac broke was unable to fix it. it was 84-88 degrees in the house. Brought a portable and a box fan and offered me a discount to stay. Wouldn’t tell me what kind of discount. Sink was clogged. We found popsicle Trash in the beds and next to sofa. They have some ridiculous policy where they don’t make top bunks so I got to climb up there when the house was 85 degrees and try and make it for my son. We had a total of 7 maintenance people in and out all day long. They offered for me to get a TOTAL refund and check out and try and find somewhere else. They said they looked and they had no other properties to move us into. I found somewhere, checked out 3 nights early. Next day after we left I only got 597$ back out of my 1100$ paid and fought with them the rest of my vacation. Remember how they said they have no more units available to put us in? I was on Facebook and padre escapes post a unit saying last one left for this weekend call now! So they lied to us too. Padre escapes lied to me 2x, made my vacation cost 600$ more than budgeted for and basically said to bad. Yelp and Google have similar reviews to mine. BEWARE!
