The host was very welcoming and answered every question we had promptly. The house was modern and clean, and the directions the host gave were perfect. She was flexible with the pool heating schedule which we appreciated. The house is in a great neighborhood--quiet and safe. The house felt very spacious for our party of three siblings. All in all, a lovely property!

Second time staying at Jody's home

And it was the best. Stay was longer, used more of the household items, and could not be more excited to stay there a third time. Location is perfect, home has everything you would need for a short or extended stay. The pool is fabulous. It felt like home!

Perfect Getaway

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. The home was very clean & well-stocked with basic necessities. Jody’s communication was excellent & everything went quite smoothly. Our favorite part was relaxing in the peaceful back yard, whether it was sipping our morning coffee, floating in the pool, or simply admiring the stunning sunsets. We were even treated to the occasional hummingbird buzzing by & a cute little lizard scaling the wall. Absolutely recommend this gem of a vacation home!

Your place was spotless, everything was as you said. Thanks for the comfort of your home. The reason I gave location a 4 is more on us. We were looking to play golf and to get to any courses north of your place was a real challenge with traffic. But the price made up for the inconvenience. If we come down again we will be looking to stay with you again.

The best place we’ve ever stayed!

Jody let us check in early. This home is even better than the pictures show. Everything was spotless, well stocked, comfortable. The heated pool is amazing. We were able to use it almost every day. The deck around is full of comfy furniture, there are all kinds of floats to use. The patio has a large table and chairs, an awesome grill, a heater to keep warm. We used the master bedroom, the bed is so comfortable. Both of the bathrooms are amazing. Even the garage is spotless! We were there for 2 weeks, and wish we could have stayed longer. You will love this place, believe me!! February 3-17, 2024

The perfect stay

We feel so fortunate to have found Jody and Brian's home. From the minute you walk in the door, you are welcomed with all the comforts of home. There isn't anything they haven't thought of, from commonly used spices, to night lights that light the way throughout the home. It is exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, a fabulous grill, patio and pool, even an extra fridge in the garage. And the amenities -- from closets filled with soft towels to soap, tissues, laundry detergent, a pair of slides by the door, even bubble wrap and boxes to ship items! Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, it's an easy walk to a multi-generational fitness complex and walking trail. And it's a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Jody was also incredibly responsive to questions prior to, and after, booking, Wonderful hosts! We look forward to booking this property when we return to Maricopa.

Lovely Home

We really enjoyed our vacation in Brian & Jody’s lovely home. Their home was spotlessly clean, excellent linens & the Master bed was the most comfortable bed that we’ve had in any previous rental homes. The kitchen was well supplied with good quality pot & pans, cutlery & dishes. A good variety of spices that we used occasionally. The salt water swimming pool was great & lots of pool items to enjoy as well. The patio furniture was very comfortable & we sat outside whenever the weather permitted . The pool has a nice H2O feature that we used almost daily. Our overall experience in B & J’s was the best we’ve had in Az since retiring 6 years ago. We will certainly return to the home if we are in the Maricopa area again in future.

Fabulous!

The pictures don't do this house justice. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this lovely home! All the amenities of a well-appointed, nicely decorated home. It was almost as if the owners had emptied the closets of their clothes, and left everything else. Nightlights, floor mats, tissues, pantry supplies, coolers, spices, condiments, hair dryers, scale, iron & ironing board, office supplies, games, books, to name just a few of all the little details that, added together, made the stay so comfortable, so easy. Kudos to the cleaning crew! The house was immaculate everywhere. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The saltwater pool was fantastic! One of us has fairly extreme chlorine sensitivities, and had not the least bit of reaction to the pool. We are very happy to give a five-star review. If we could, we would give a hundred stars!

The good the bad and the ugly

Looked like a good rental. House was very clean, organized and well equiped. The salt water pool was nice and large with easy access. Owner supplied many floats and a compressor to fill them. The barbeque and out door heater worked very well. In the orientation book it said there was a remote to control pool light and water fall feature, we never found the remote so we downloaded the pool app and operated them with ithe app, this is where things went bad. The owner remotely turned the light and waterfall feature off on us on many occasions and sent me a series of bad texts accusing us of breaking into the pool control box, I explained we were using the app but she continued to turn light and waterfall feature off on us during the entire trip. The AC was operated by a thermostat and defaulted to 90 degrees so every two hours you had to turn the AC on which was very unpleasant exspecially at night. The road at the pool side of house was extremely noisy during week days and local construction added to the noise. If the owner would of stopped micro managing our trip it would of avoided this ugly review. We do not recommend this rental.

Response from VrboOwner on 15 Jun, 2021
This person needs to come with his own warning. Instead of using the pool remote, he hacked into my app and had total control of pool heat, etc. VRBO tried to contact him and he didn't pick up. He had an event at the house with lots of people and the neighbors called the police. This house does not allow events. This person texted me (after I discovered he had accessed the pool panel box) that he was "entitled" (he actually used this word) to every amenity the house offered. Hacking into my pool control box is not an amenity. Do not rent to this person.

Best rental on Vrbo

My family has stayed at this rental before and this review is for our second stay. This property is simply the best short term rental I have ever stayed at. It's spotlessly clean, inside and out. It's nicely appointed with furnishings that are in excellent shape. The house is spacious enough to easily accommodate four adults. The heated pool and outdoor gas grill make relaxing in the backyard fun at any time of the year. Jody stocks the home with everything one could need including utensils, paper goods, and toiletries. Jody herself is a fantastic host who is easy to work with. This house is a fantastic rental and I highly recommend it.
