Thank you for the review, I'm sorry that some dogs belonging to some other person are barking. You asked me what to do and I told you that maybe you should close the windows, then you hear nothing because the house is soundproof, and your reply was that you need fresh air when you sleep. If you have a suggestion please do tell. But really now, 2/5 stars because a dog was barking 50 meters away? It's my fault? Best regards to you.

Great and charming place!

A very nice and peaceful place right next to the sea. Andreas was very helpful and was responding quickly to all our answers. Enough space for four persons. Best time was in the late afternoon: Sun setting slowly over the sea, golden light, Barbecue in the garden, ten meters away from the sea...We were there in mid-October - and it was still 23-25 decrees celcius, water warm enough to swim...

Perfekte Lage, direkt am Strand. Ruhe pur!

Amazing beachfront house

We had a wonderful stay at this incredible beachfront house with sea views from the front porch. The gentle sounds of the waves, lovely stretches of beach and clear blue sea to swim in - can't ask for more than that. It was so relaxing. The local restaurants in Ouranopolis, a short 2- 3km drive away served great local dishes. The owners, Andreas and Poppy, were extremely helpful and such lovely people.

great place!

This place is even better than what you see in the pictures. We booked it because it looked private, clean and like a home, not just any odd rental property, but like a place someone actually lives in, and this it definitely is. Our host welcomed us into his family house and he was more than helpful through out our stay. We actually ended befriending him. We enjoyed the house very much, but also the surrounding area, with it's beautiful beaches, not to mention the feeling of being close to Mount Athos, which for us also gave this place a special feeling. All in all, we would recommend this house to anyone!

What makes this property unique

One of a four house complex, located right in front of the beach, with a big terrace in front and smaller one in the back, features a yard perfect for playing or relaxing. The beach in front of the house is usually devoid of people. One can find restaurants super markets and beach bars in the hotels around the house, just a couple hundred meters away. Further off around 3KM away is the last village before the Agion Oros (Mount Athos) Ouranoupoli, from where you can catch a small boat to the islands (Drenia) or get a permit for a visit to Mount Athos (men only).
