Perfect Place to stay in Puerto Rico

From the moment we got there everything was perfect from communication about the location and all the details of the home to the cleanliness and everything provided. This apartment is in a very centric location with restaurants, nightlife, close to the beach, etc. We will be staying here again without a doubt.

The location of the property as far as San Juan goes is phenomenal. Less than a block away from La Placita, with great priced restaurants and night life right there. Uber to old San Juan or Condado was less than 7. This place is great homey and they don’t care if you are loud cause we sure didn’t sleep and no one complained. The host was easy to get in touch with and was very helpful.

Perfect little corner of San Juan for La Placita

If youre looking to stay in San Juan and experience the party life this is the place. You're a 5 minute walk to all the bars you could want and just far enough away that the music wont keep you up all night! You're also a 5 minute ride to old San Juan and the castles. The place is cozy with a well equipped kitchen and two full size beds. Id stay here again!

Great stay and great host

I enjoyed my time in Puerto Rico. The apartment was clean and great location, close to la Placita and short drive to San Juan. We only had one hiccup but Idalia was very helpful in resolving the issue, which was something out of her control. She was very attentive and really nice person. Thank you once again in letting us stay at your place and being a great host.

Beautiful apartment in convenient location.

This 2 bedroom apartment which has been renovated is a bargain. Everything is first class from the tile floors to the walk-in shower to the big screen TV. It is also close to a cool restaurant, Culinary U, on Ponce De Leon Ave. and just a few blocks away from Walmart.

Great time!

Overall the stay was great! Location is central to the Placita. And if you want to go out to bars and dancing it is definitely walking distance. About a block away so it is also quiet. The one thing I would have liked was extra bath towels. Other than that everything was great! Idalia was on top of everything before and after check in.

I was really disappointed when I got there and realized there was no AC in the living area and kitchen. The description clearly says this unit has a c, and did not specify that it was limited to the bedrooms. The apartment is like a hot box all the time which made cooking impossible due to the heat. When we got there, the small AC units wouldn't even work because the filter was filthy and needed to be cleaned out. Because the windows aren't sealed in the bedrooms, it was difficult to keep the room cool. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable, and combined with the heat, sleeping here was miserable. There's also issues with parking. There was never any free parking on the street so we had to pay for parking. Not the biggest deal in the world. That being said, the apartment was very clean (with exception of the air condition filters) and the location was excellent for getting around.

This vacation rental is in an older building, but the unit has been remodeled. The location is perfect for easy access to the city, the beach, and the Old San Juan area. During our stay, there was a water shortage due to a super aqueduct rupture in the metropolitan area. As a result, we were not able to shower, wash dishes, or flush the toilet for five out of the six days we stayed here. After further research, we found out that water shortages happen frequently in San Juan due to various development projects disrupting local infrastructure. I do not blame this issue on the host. However, I do think in the future, the listing should mention that running water and plumbing may not be available consistently. We ended up having to go to a resort to access running water. There is no AC in the living room/kitchen, causing the apartment to be extremely hot even when running the AC in the bedrooms. We also found two live cockroaches and a line of mites in the kitchen. The price should reflect the quality of the stay. (We paid 919.90 for six nights).

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and recognized that the apartment has been beautifully remodeled. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The water outage during your stay was caused by an unexpected major aqueduct rupture that affected a large portion of the San Juan metropolitan area. This was an extraordinary event completely outside of our control and not a recurring issue at the property. For this reason, it would not be accurate to state in our listing that running water and plumbing may not be consistently available. Throughout the outage, we chose not to ask guests to leave because the situation affected the entire metropolitan area, and we wanted to be as supportive and accommodating as possible while the public utility worked to restore service. Regarding the insects, this is the first time in over two years that any guest has reported such an issue. As our other reviews reflect, this has not been a recurring concern. Unfortunately, in a tropical climate, the occasional insect can find its way indoors despite regular professional pest control. We also note that these concerns were never reported during your stay, so we were not given the opportunity to address them immediately. We also wish to mention that the apartment was left in an unusually poor condition after your departure, making the turnover significantly more difficult than normal. We always encourage guests to contact us during their stay if any issue

we're in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, near outdoor plaza daytime farmer's market , food vendors, restaurants/Music Scene at night you can find high end restaurants but also less expensive restaurant with and excellent quality. our apt has s a very good mix, near all tourist attraction but far from the noise .
