Come and spend your summer listening to the sounds of the Mettawee River just steps from your screened-in porch. 3 bedroom house with pullout couch comfortably sleeps 6 people. Located on famed Lower Hollow Road, just 5 minutes to Dorset green and 15 minutes to Manchester Center resturants and shopping.

This renovated historic farmhouse sits on 3.5 acres that includes a river, a barn with a game room (ping pong and fooseball), hiking trails, a stone patio overlooking the property to sip your coffee from and plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the mountain views.

Located 15 minutes from all of the restaurants, galleries, charming bookstores and shops of Manchester, while being set off on a quiet scenic road tucked into the Dorset Hollow; this location is just about perfect! You are also within minutes of many beautiful spots for hiking, biking and swimming including: Bromley mountain, Equinox Pond, Lye Brook Falls, Emerald Lake State Park, The Dorset Horse Show, and the Southern Vermont Arts Center.

The house has central air, fast wifi, a wood burning fireplace, and all of the comforts of home. Plus, we are dog friendly! Come get away from it all at your own Vermont summer retreat.

We live fulltime in New Jersey and spend as much time as possible at our "Happy Place" in Dorset, Vermont, called River Hollow. When we aren't using River Hollow, we like to share it with guests and friends!

What makes this property unique

The setting of this home is truly unique. It is located on a scenic loop road that is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists. We have a brook/river running through the property (with trout for you fisherman), and have several homemade hiking trails marked in the woods of our 3 acre spot.
