Once you are there, continue to Wilderness Cove at 3772 Green River Cove Rd., Saluda, NC 28773. Wilderness Cove will be on your left after the second bridge! *

Steps away from the Green River and the entrance to 18,000 acres of protected mountain forest in the Green River Gamelands. The cabin offers direct access to 20+ miles of named hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, Class 2-5 whitewater rapids, great fly fishing, kayaking, tubing, rock climbing, biking and many more outdoor adventures. As part of Wilderness Cove Campground, we have all the equipment and amenities you need to enjoy the numerous activities.

This 2 bedroom historic river cabin totaling approximately 1,800 sqft sits directly on the Green River and is a part of Wilderness Cove Campground. The main entry opens to a living room with a large screen smart TV and surround sound. The couch in the living room is a queen size pullout. A small stairwell leads to the open kitchen and dining area, that is stocked with the essentials you need to prep a great meal. Essentials include items like coffee machine, microwave, pots & pans, silverware, glassware and more. The dining area provides access to the covered front porch which has awesome views of the river and mountains. The porch has seating and a grill for your enjoyment.

The master bedroom, located on the main floor, offers a king size bed and provides direct access to the creekside side porch and yard. The side yard has a fire-pit and guest seating. The master full bathroom is located on the main floor and is accessed through pantry. The second bedroom is located upstairs and has a queen size bed and private full bathroom. The second bedroom also provides access to our sleeper loft which offers a queen size bed and two twin beds. *Please note* the sleeper loft is open to the master bedroom located on the first floor. The cabin is equipped with AC heating & cooling, as well as high speed Wi-Fi internet. Our delicious, fresh mountain water comes from our onsite well and is UV filtered for your safety and enjoyment.

Located within Wilderness Cove Campground directly off Green River Cove Road in Saluda, North Carolina. Our friendly onsite staff will welcome you to the site and provide you with a keycode to gain access to the cabin. The cabin offers a private parking area suitable for up to three vehicles. If you're arriving late, please message us in advance so we can make arrangements to leave a late arrival check-in packet for you.

Guest binder in cabin includes food recommendations, places to see and things to do in the area, including nearby trails and hikes.

We provide towels, hand soap, body soap, shampoo, trash can liners and Keurig cups. Think of these amenities as a starter kit, we recommend you bring additional supplies as appropriate for the duration of your stay. We also sell supplies and food from our onsite campstore and food truck.

Plan to go to the store before or once during your stay. We use the Historic Thompson’s Store in Saluda for fresh fresh meat, fruits and veggies. Larger format stores are the Flatrock Ingles, Harris Teeter, or Organic Coop.

Campground amenities, particularly whitewater sports, are seasonal. Please inquire with host regarding availability and hours.

Black bear sightings are common in this area. Please ensure that no food or trash is left outside for extended periods of time. Large dumpsters are located on the property for your convenience.

Both TVs are equipped with Roku and have streaming capabilities. BYOP (bring your own passwords!) We do not have cable TV.

In an effort to secure the premises and enhance safety, the property is equipped with security cameras and is constantly monitored by our onsite staff.
