Come to The Sip and stay in The Roxie!

Our new owner, recently renovated property has everything you need to make your stay in Oxford memorable. We are located in a quiet, gated community only minutes from the Ole Miss campus. This makes us a great spot for gameday accommodations. We are conveniently located off of Jackson Ave., which is the home of many local restaurants and shops. If you're looking for access to The Square, we're only a little over a mile away!

The Roxie features two bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, with sleeping accomodations for 6 guests. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, a smart television, and its own private bath. The bathrooms have both tub/shower combo access and come stocked with towels and a hair dryer. Did you forget your shampoo? No worries! We've got it covered.

Downstairs you will find a half bath located just before the kitchen, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. A 58" smart TV allows you to view shows you like. Speaking of the kitchen, it comes fully stocked, you just provide the groceries! There is a dining area off the kitchen. We also have a stocked coffee bar for your convenience, for those mornings you don't feel like crossing Jackson Avenue for Starbucks.

We do have an in-unit laundry room, washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board included. The quaint back patio holds a grill and seating area. If you don't feel like cooking, we have a list of the local hotspots. You can't go wrong with the food in Oxford!

Donna, the host, was very easy to work with. She allowed us to get in a bit early for check in since our flight arrived earlier in the day which was much appreciated! The townhome is an easy walk to campus (although you do have to cross Jackson Ave. which can be busy) and is comfortable for 4 adults. It could sleep two more people with the pull out couch but we enjoyed having that space to socialize and relax. The beds are very comfortable and the home is clean and well equipped. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect home away from home!

The Roxie was AMAZING. I was pleased as soon as I walked in the door. It was so clean and tidy. It was nicely decorated, but I still felt comfortable slipping my shoes off and relaxing. The host left a basket of travel sized toiletries in each restroom, and I’m so glad. I had actually forgotten to pack something, and it was there waiting on me! The location is very convenient to campus and very close to other amenities. The kitchen was perfect for our group, as we enjoy both cooking and eating local. I think the top feature is that each bedroom had its own bathroom! I could go on and on, but all of this to say—we will definitely stay at The Roxie again…. Soon!

We live in Ridgeland, MS. We own Cline Tours, Inc. and I am a retired Choral Director after 35 years. We love Oxford and wanted to be available to help others relax and enjoy the city as we do. This is my first time to be a host and am looking forward to the venture. We love all the athletics and have season tickets to football and basketball. We often go to other sports events like baseball, soccer and softball. I lived the first 18 years of my life in Roxie, MS, thus the name of our place.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property for our grandchildren to use when the time comes. It is in a great location with easy access to everything. It is a gated community and that provides extra security. This unit is right off Jackson Avenue West on Anderson Road. Easy in and out to go anywhere you want.

What makes this property unique

This property has been completely remodeled, new cabinets, vanities, lights, hardware, refrigerator, washer and dryer as well as new flooring throughout the house. The furniture, with the exception of a couple of pieces, is all new. You will have all the amenities you would want, left something at home, it's probably there waiting for you. This unit is well stocked, especially in the kitchen, and linens and towels are also provided. We've tried to make it a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Included are fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide alarms.
Prior to arrival I will send you a gate code as well as a code to the keypad lock.
You will have a 24/7 contact available during your stay. Welcome to The Roxie!
