Basic as described but lovely and cosy, set in the trees above St Albans. We really enjoyed the rainbow light coming through the windows in the morning :) Kate was great to communicate with.

Very quite. Private.

Close to St Albans. Pub not serving meals Monday to Wednesday night, so bring food, which is in the listing.

St Albans escape

Property was as described, rustic. We were a little disappointed with the cleanness of the property. The bathroom needed a good clean as there was a lot of mould on the ceiling and shower area and the exhaust fan was not working which left the small room completely wet after a shower. The BBQ had not been cleaned but we didn't need to use it. The aircon was not adequate as it didn't seem to warm the room at all. In the main room there was a lot of spider webs on the ceiling and fans. It did state rustic but rustic does not mean unclean.We did enjoy the fire pit outside and the location. The spider webs did not deter our stay. We were very comfortable

Very nice property in a quiet location. Bed is big and super comfy. Spacious living room, good kitchen area. The host Katy is lovely, spoke to her face to face as she was in the cafe next door. (If you're a big internet user, the wi-fi can be a bit sketchy but okay most of the time). Everything was good, enjoyed our stay here, a nice place to come for some peace and quiet.
